We arrived last Friday night a 5pm. We didn’t have a booking, but the curations staff found a site and it was perfect (ensuite). Everything was clean the grass green, washing machine price reasonable. We stayed 3 nights.

We had a powered site which was good amenities were clean & hot water.
Park itself had a smell of septic (which looks like they are trying to rectifier)
My main complaint is far to many dogs night 1 a dog did a wee on our pole while having our dinner outside (no lead on)
Next morning dog's poo on the grass area in front of us while having breakfast outside yes was picked up But let your dog poo out the front of your van!
Unfortunately I won't be recommending this park to friends because of dog's EVERYWHERE

The Cove gets a low rating from me for a few reasons.
1: Customer service was lacking.
2: It felt like everything was on its last legs- laundry and car were out of order and the showers were rough.
3: Very little shade at the campsites.
4: A very obnoxious neighbour (who I thought was a guest but turns out they were living in camp accommodation with a staff member) absolutely BLARING their home theatre system late at night. We have young kids so if you're going to stay in a campground and watch a movie (2 nights in row!) that has machine guns, explosions and car chases, then don't give me a hard time when I politely ask you to turn it down. Also, these people got their own en suite, which was right next to OUR camp-site. Every time it was used (middle of the night) it was very loud and woke us up.
4: I asked if our kids could use the children's room while we packed up to depart but was told no, I had to wait for the cleaners (who were nowhere to be found). How hard would it have been to help us out here?
The pool here was nice but I would recommend choosing the competition.

Had a wonderful time. Nice rooms but could be better if you could even give free milk for the breakfast and a bottle of drinking water to your guests.

Well this isn’t a place you visit if you want a nice beach - coming from cable beach we were very disappointed. The site itself was a lumpy lawn site that cars has obviously driven on, and smelt strongly of urine. We were in swags so this mattered. The five grass sites back onto the back fence where cars and boats park (from the park) and will wake you up early leaving. Facilities all seem nice enough in the center of the park but could’ve missed this spot and not missed much.

Great location, Large sites with green grass areas on each site.
Well maintained, close to the beach and walking tracks.

Stayed in a chalet with the dogs and although I had little expectations, for $190 a night, I don’t think I’d recommend the chalets here unless you have pets and really need a break from camping.

The interior is very tired with torn furniture, dirt marks and holes in the walls. There are a bunch of rules and fines for what seems like everything you can’t do or need to do, making the stay and departing process very stressful. We did not want to be paying more than the $190.
With all the requirements surrounding the fines, it seems 90% of the cleaning relies on the previous guest to do which is worrisome in itself.

As someone mentioned below, there is no aircon in the bedroom and the fan is quite noisy, so would be difficult for a light sleeper.

The location is nice so perhaps the camping side of things would be a better option.

Very lucky to have a side block - some sea views and the room was very well laid out.
Nice & tidy, could be a bit small but fit the purpose very well.
My dog loved watching people go by and have a bit of sun bath in the morning too.
Overall very nice experience.

Great park, excellent facilities, very clean and well manicured. They provide for hire leisure equipment also. Staff very friendly and helpful, certainly would stay there again.

Not a lot of shade and fairly austere surroundings, but, excellent facilities, very happy & helpful staff, good sized sites and only a short walk to the pub. We are sorry we couldn’t stay longer.

A lovely spot for a few days stopover between the historic jetty and local tavern in walking distance to the north and beautiful honeymoon cove mere metres away to the south. A clean park with fabulous amenities, pool and shop at reception. No regrets!

Great little cabin. Well appointed rooms and very comfortable bed. Shower gets a good 9.5 rating. Mostly thought they are pet friendly.

Great facilities, clean and family and dog friendly. Close to the beach and Samson Restaurant is a 2 minute walk and the best fish and chips.

Nice location and very tidy park, the chalet however was nowhere near 'deluxe'. Booked 3 nights, left after 2. Well equipt kitchenette with good sized fridge but verry uncomfortable furniture that badly needs updating left us nowhere to sit except on the camp chairs we brought with us. I'm 63kg and 163 cm tall, sank through the seat of the dining chairs so far that my chin was nearly level with the table. Sofa way too small for 2 people, old with peeling upholstery. Outdoor seats were timber with filthy pancakes of a cushion. Only 2 BBQ's, one adjacent to the laundry.ok but always occupied, the other situated right on the waste water treatment area! Each morning started at 8am with the leaf blower, followed by high pressure cleaning of pool area and vacated van sites. Not the ideal place for a relaxing get away.

A well equipped place to break up the long journey.
The amenities were clean, the park was quiet and had room to breathe, between campers and caravans.
The easy beach access is a bonus.
A nice restaurant is only a 3 minute walk away.
Lots of history and things to see in the surrounding towns

Nice location next to the beach and a small jetty, the site was ridiculously over priced as there are no non powered sites. So paid $42, to pitch a tent with no shade and not use electricity. Showers were great! Pool was out of order. All is all it was over priced.
