The Coogee Boathouse

Visited for the first time recently for a quick lunch break.
I had the fish and chips.
Honestly, it's the best fish and chips I've ever had.
Will be back again with the whole family!

Great location overlooking the water. Food was quick and decent. If you want to chat outside is best as the music inside is loud enough to make conversation a bit hard work, but a minor quibble.

A good spot to relax by the water when the weather is nice with a view of the boats. The Turkish bread with salted butter was great! Seafood chowder was nice and creamy with a good amount of mixed seafood. Good quality chips and big portion of fish in the fish and chips.

Have been there 3 times in approx 6 mths, the food is generally really good each time. Last visit there was a order (system issue) it took approximately 1hr for the food to reach the table once we followed up on the delay. The team apologised and explained the docket issue. Food was still good and we received some extras for the delay.

Great place to meet up with friends. Food and drinks were great. We will definitely be back.

Good vibe, just needs faster service. Big lines at the bar.some staff are really friendly, others phoning it in.

The battered fish had a weird metallic taste to it.
The Turkish bread was awful, so dry and the butter tasted rancid. Not recommended.

Had the flour squid rings and was the smallest dish I have ever seen. The squid rings were cold aswell. Had fish and chips there before and was fantastic. I will never go back.

Nice view of the rd. Omeo wreck is close by. Good tap selection.but-
The service took awhile and then they served us cold fish and chips.
When we were asked is everything ok. We told the waiter and he said he'll pass it on. I almost lost my s#%t.

Its a - get your own water and Get your own knife and fork set up too. (just incase ypu didnt know)

If i was back in the area id go to the fish and chip shop up the road. Its alot cheaper and better

Best quality seafood platter I’ve had in Perth! Perfect to share between 2 with really fresh produce and thoughtfully put together flavour-wise. Beautiful view as well. Restaurant is a nice fit out too. Good selection of beers.

Very loud and busy. Nice meals but hard to order as we had to go up to the counter and a separate counter for drinks. Table service would be better, only because of the confined space. We had to shout to talk. We were able to book which was good and it was warm inside. Good wait time. Yummy food

That is an amazing place for dinner and take a rest and view at beautiful sunset near to the beach.

We had a lovely Business lunch time with the team, nice food, tasty fresh fish crudo and local octopus. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend

Had a few meals here and mostly ok. But tonight I ordered "slow roasted beet" and feta salad. The beetroot was pickled in vinegar.not roasted. When I questioned the menu with staff I was told it was slow roasted and then pickled. Never heard of that before and sorry.don't believe the chef.

Loud and the food very average, my steak was 1/4 fat and we had to ask for it twice, other people at our table nearly finished by the time my came.

We had a fantastic lunch here. Great food, fast service, lovely spot and it's been nicely refurbished. Probably the best sticky date pudding we've ever had too.

We have been here numerous times, and every meal has been amazing! I think they may of had some teething issues on opening, hence some of the low ratings, but I can honestly say every meal here has been very tasty, great quality, decent size, and top notch service. Repeat visitors now, bringing along friends, family and everyone has enjoyed! It's our go to restaurant in Coogee! ️

Have revamped the old place into a fresh open environment. So much better and love our local.
Id welcome an improved menu it's OK at the moment but not epic.happy to report there has been an updated menu and a specials board too!

Would recommend popping in for bevies with a view

Great night. Good food - just probably wouldn’t choose a Friday night if you want a quiet night.

The atmosphere was great, staff were friendly and helpful, and the nenu all sou ded delicious. My cousin and I ordered the same dish at the same time, and yet hers arrived 25 minutes before mine did. Otherwise a great spot to grab a bite.
