The Continental Hotel Broome

Room is ok with a great smart tv. But no internet in room and as not maintain on duty can not reset. Bed/ mattress was that old when sitting on edge was sitting on wooden frame.
Located is ok and one pool open which was ok. I stayed for work but would not put up with this room if I paid.

Really nice place. Got an upgrade to a bigger room overlooking the bay. Service was very good, staff very friendly.
My only complaint was the pillows were very high which hurt my neck and the mattress was hard. But they found me a new pillow that suited me perfectly.

We stay here one week here because of work.and here have no public kitchen that i can make a toastie or make a noodles.i have to go to order meals everyday for a week.can't believe that.
Last time we stay here haven't had hot water to shower for whole day.i don't know u got swimming pools, fitness room, it's nonsense can't even have a public kitchen.

Booked a room for the 31st March 2023 but as a result of a change of my cruise dates I requested a change of Hotel date to 28th March. Hotel would not even consider a change and would not refund my full payment of $151. What a miserable Hotel.

Food was recommended at this Hotel and it was great! Service was a bit slow considering so few diners but it was cool and clean and we had business to cover anyway. Would go again!

No wifi in the room.
We paid for wifi, and no wifi.
Talked about this problem 2 times at young lady at the reception, she just said we can use the wifi at the reception or at the swimming pool.

Room was ok, the bathroom is a bit "old school" but quit clean.

The good point is for the swimming pool, very nice and big. The boab is beautiful.

Cleaning staff's great, very nice and polite.

Had queen room, ground floor, the room was clean, plenty of towels and toiletries, bed was fine, fan was noisy and off balance and ac decided at 23 degrees that it wanted to throw ice out during the night, both pools were great lots of seating and shade.
Check in was easy quick process.
Did ask on check out day for a late check out as this is advertised on website to be informed by desk staff this was not an option available. So bit confusing. Cleaning staff were polite and friendly throughout the resort.
The ground is maintained extremely well. Parking is available if required.

Really nice room, clean and nice decorative touches. Great gym and facilities. Would absolutely recommend, great price for a great stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the continental. Loved the pool area! The outdoor bistro area was beautiful, Room was clean amd suited our needs.
Everything was lovely. Great location.
All staff were awesome from reception to pool cleaning man. Except for one young girl who was the barista and bar person on morning shift on our last few days there! She really put a dampener on our experience there. She was miserable looking rarely smiled, everything seemed a drama for her, my husband ordered a bottled beer and was told not to take it down to pool side being glass, which he had no intentions of doing, but she continued to tell him that she will be down to check on him to make sure he hadn’t, It was a number of thngs. I quietly asked one of the other lovely staff members her name which she over heard and said, “dont ever give out my name”. She was Completely unprofessional staring me down, I said you probably shouldn’t be doing this as a profession. It was a real shame that 1 person could really make you rethink of returning for a follow up stay. I had planned on returning with my children in March but I may ring ahead to see if this girl has perhaps moved on. Thankyou

Nice place the rooms need a bit of attention my shower was leaking and paint peeling off the shower wall but overall enjoyed my stay

The good: swimming pool area was very relaxing. Pool was large, lots of lounge areas, pleasant music. Dinning area was equally relaxing and the gardens were very well designed and maintained. Staff were attentive and pleasant.
The Ok: we stayed in the basic room. Facing car park. Nothing flash. Bathroom was below expectation even for the basic room. Large area of paint peeling in the bath. Bath was stained brown and white shower curtain was grubby. Room was tidy and had everything we needed. Cleaners were good too.
The disappointing: breakfast options said GFO so I could switch for a GF bread instead of dough dough. Major disappointment is they only have fruit toast GF! Fruit toast doesn’t go with bacon and scrambled eggs…. Why don’t they have regular GF bread?
Overall: nice hotel, good location, you pay for what you get. I would be interested to see what their best hotel room bathroom and room looks like for the extra money it might be worth it, but I am not holding out much hope because I have not seen anything worth while on the internet photo gallery.

Good clean rooms. Great bar staff. Great pool. Whole experience marred by arrogance, angry and most unhelpful junior management/reception.

First room was infested with Singapore Ants. Apparently fully booked but didn’t see more than five other guests, moved to a smaller worse quality room. No discount nor compensation for the room downgrade. Been to Broome 10 times staying in different hotel each time definitely worst hotel in Broome.

Has had a very nice upgrade, looks great, very comfortable, nice pool area but expensive. Hotel brochure says enjoy an indigenous experience. Well we had an experience, didn't enjoy it. Some locals yelling, screaming and fighting at 1am, again at 3am. They had the code for the security gate and were coming and going at leisure. When I mentioned it at the lobby they apologised and said they had only changed the code the week before.

The Continental Hotel needs a serious injection of funds to the external facial and surrounds. It's in an amazing location but when I take holidaymakers there, their faces simply drop. I've never been inside and can't comment on the rooms or facilities, but a huge improvement externally is definitely needed.

The room wasn’t the best but the service and amenities are amazing having two swimming pools and a tennis court

Rooms are pleasant, but the outstanding feature of my stay was the amazing service and assistance from the Conti Restaurant staff.
It was greatly appreciated

Comfortable rooms, half the hotel is currently being renovated / maintained for the peak season starting the end of the month.

Maybe it's off season but the dining/breakfast menu sucked, the room was ok but the seating furniture hurt my back

Rooms are very nice. New and tastefully designed. The bed is super comfy, with large luxurious pillows and quality soft cotton. Bathroom is clean and modern. The whole thing is really well thought out.
