The Continental European Bar & Bistro

The $139 continental platter. I made the mistake of thinking it was for three people.unless you are a good and I mean good eater the platter happily suits four hungry tummies plus a few brews! Highly recommended!

I’m Uber driver and I have always pick up order from The continental baldivis. One of the lady she’s name is palm. She’s always giving order in time. We never fill this place we are driver. Thank you staff.

The food is very delicious and staff is very friendly. They also serve the best drinks I have ever tried. I give it a 10/10.

The food at this place was absolutely amazing. I got the pork belly and sausage and it was superb.other people at my table got things like beef cheeks and the wunderplatter and they all said it was also amazing and it looked great too.the service was ok but that's Only because it seemed like they were short staffed.the server was lovely and tried her best despite obviously being alone.it was worth the bit of extra wait. I will be returning many times to try other things in the menu

The visit was unpleasant. The constant humming inside was loud and annoying. When I complained we were told someone was using s mixer,? Service was bad. 1 meal got mixed up. Waitress tried to deliver wrong dish twice. Then a table that arrived after us got there food. We waited 20 mins for the correct dish.
I wouldn't recommend the restaurant.

How this place has got a 4 star rating is beyond me, foods average and service is non existent. Wont go back.

Food is average, have eaten here twice but never again. Order was wrong, over charged by $30. Lettuce looked like it had been sitting there for days and was browning.
Staff were lovely but they need to tweek the menu and find a better chef.

Had a wonderful lunch yesterday. Went at a quiet time where it was not crazy busy but the service and food exceptional. Taste buds were overwhelmed. I went with a family member who works there, who is so proud of being apart of the Team and who said the food is amazing. You are so right. The beef cheeks beautiful flavour and just enough, the calamari starter wonderfully made, crumbed and not overcooked. You definitely beat The Coffee Club hands down as I always have calamari and always disappointed. The Ribs and chips, soft and succulent. Mouth watering. Coleslaw bit dry. Great atmosphere, clean, tidy. I do however feel that in every restaurant ask your patron's if everything is fine. Doesn't cost much to walk around and ask. Have conversations with your patron's, we support you at the end of the day.

Consistently great food, value and service. Never been let down, always know what we will get. We travel from freo down to here often. Wish I could have the same up here in freo. Most pub foods in freo are a let down.

First and Last time we’ll visit here,

Ordered well tried to order drinks, Nope not avail we have that in bottle not tap though, try something else, nope we’ve ran out of that on tap.
Fine we got the bottle, wouldn't of mattered anyway the Pints or 0.5 as they class aren't even a pint and u still pay pint prices.

Order what is called “Oven Roasted Pork Ribs” along with “Penne Alfredo”
Well where do i start, the Ribs? What Ribs, they should called be called Baby Ribs 4 Small ‘racks’, 2 maybe 3 small bones in there, cold chips and Coleslaw, remove the ‘law’ and thats where this coleslaw was bought COLES.
Now i buy ribs regularly from a lot of places and this has to he (altho they did taste nice) the worst over priced “OVEN ROASTED BABEY RACK RIBS”.

Penne sauce tasted nothing like a good in house sauce, no cream oil you’d see in real cream, just bland,
In fact tasted just like powdered Easy mac sauce or canton meal

Great place, great friendly service. Good location for parking. So accommodating. Allowed is to bring in cake for Birthday. When we sang, everyone joined in!

First time of order bangers mash amazing so we ordered cottage pie big size but way to salty let it down disappointed.

Very average food, couldn't order the drinks we wanted on tap and only had bottles, the pasta Alfredo tasted just like a $2 kantong tin

My partner and I had dinner last night and the food was nothing short of amazing. We dined and had drinks, great food and conversation. The menu speaks for itself and the staff were spectacular, great atmosphere and simply one of the best dine in experiences we’ve had.

Thank you to the chef and all staff, you have set a very high standard and the quality of your establishment reflects that.

Was looking forward to an early dinner tonight. Extremely disappointed!
Ordered B burger, Onion Rings, 2 Pasta dishes and Pork bites. First up the uber eats bag was leaking and the driver said that's how he got it! Pork dish was too salty and was inedible, onion rings were cold and no aioli? !? And the last time I had the B Burger I loved it, this time however nothing was fresh on the burger, bacon tasted like it had been leftovers from breakfast. Will NOT be ordering from this place again wasted $90+

My partner and I had the buffalo wings and the bruschetta for entrees as mains and the black forest cake (no kirsch) and confectioners cream. The Toblerone has confectioners cream also. Both cakes have real cream inside. Slices are generous

Beautiful and spacious. With 2 adults and 2 kids under 7 tonight, we ordered:
- Kids pizza (very yum according to the young reviewers)
- Cheesy garlic and onion bread
- Onion rings
- Spiced buffalo chicken wings - definitely some kicks here which we like!
- The wunderbar platter - packed with all the yummy meat - slow roasted crispy pork belly, BBQ pork ribs, Swedish soft meatballs in creamy sauce (can taste beans in the meatball thus the silky texture), sauerkraut and crunchy chips! We’re not a fan of the braised white cabbage though.

You have to be a meat lover to love this place.

Initially we wanted to order The Continental Platter but the staff at the counter is so kind to advise us that it’d be too much for us so we ordered the Wunderbar instead.

Left with our happy tummies. Will definitely come back again to try their classic knuckle next time!
