31Loved my Mother’s Day lunch here. Great food & coffee. Great service & prices. So many delicious products to choose from & a beautiful environment to enjoy it in. Will definitely be back.
My wife and I found this store quite disappointing. The environment and use of interior space was somewhat underwhelming.
Prices were on the high side, and confusingly inconsistent as well.
Quirky shop, lots of educational information, delicious meals and amazing mead! Highly recommend stopping in.
I came by almost at closing time but staff was super friendly to allow me to get my bottle of honey before closing for the day!
Awesome honey and the kids love the tastings. Just be careful as I was over charged $10. We got 3 honey jars two @$15 each one at $12 and I was over charged $10 more. When queried she said that somehow one jar was charged at the 750gram price instead of the 300gram price. No real apology as such, just a refund. It hasn’t happened before however and we do love their honey. Just always query what you pay, if you think it’s wrong.
Knowledgeable encounters with the people here! Learning that Manuka is mainly for preventives and Jarrah is for healing!
Excellent mead and honey wine. Friendly service. Great tasting honey. Also the the sticky pork belly is fantastic. Highly recommend to check this place out if you’re In Margaret River.
Love honey? Then you'll love this place! Everything from Honey (duh) to honey wine honey beer honey sweets honey ice creams, anything related to honey you'll find here.
Great products. Definitely enjoyed the honey red wine, not too sickly. The tastings, however, are very expensive at $10 for what it is and you need to get two bottles to get it back. It would be way more worth it if you got refunded for a single bottle or lowered the tasting price. I would also like to have tasted the honey mead beer, which wasn't on offer for tasting. The lady at the counter was lovely and extremely passionate.
Roast chicken with potatoes was absolutely sublime! Fantastic play area for the kids. Not to mention all the gorgeous honey products. 5 stars for the The Colony Concept.
We had the pleasure of having lunch here last Saturday. Seriously delicious food. Two of us had the prawns & churizio, the other two chose the squid. The youngest child had the ham & cheese toastie. Janma forget to take photos of the desserts, as they were so amazing that no one wanted to share! I wish I had of ordered one I seriously missed out! Would definitely eat here again any day.
Wanted to pop in a buy some honey but denied access at the door as my partner isn’t vaccinated. Unsure how buying honey fits into the vaccine mandate, oh well.
Great place for a meal or just a coffee and cake (creme brulee is divine?), very informative about the bee life and honey formation, all products from beauty care to wine are well worth buying, we stock up on every trip South, especially recommend the heel balm.
Nice place for lunch with a tasty menu. Mead, wine and honey tasting a must. Plenty of different honey products to try.
Cutest shop in the entire region! Lovely products, a great information corner with lots of instructional material about bees which our kids loved. We also loved the little lake with the bridge and playground outside. The honey is delicious of course, and their selection of products is divine. 100% recommend
We enjoyed a lovely lunch here. The service was great and all of the food ordered was delicious. We enjoyed some shared plates to start and followed up with mains. The outlook is lovely and very relaxing and there is a very well stocked honey based shop.
Interesting selection, worth a look. Active beehive to see. Didn't sit for food, but it's available
Visited here today. Well stocked shelves with all sorts of honey themed items.
Hubby and I tried the mead tasting which is $10. We took the tasting plate out onto the veranda which had a lovely relaxing outlook. The lady serving us was very informative and friendly. I was spoiled choice they all tasted delicious!
Also tasted honey and honey based spreads. The Jarrah was definitely our favourite.
Do not miss this place for lunch if you are in the South West! Nice and quite and the best food we have had! We had the meat tasting plate and the deserts are to die for!
