The Coffee Club Café - Cockburn Gateway Shopping City

I like the food in this place.
Did have the hallumi salad (no chickpeas left) so swapped with a poached egg. Was yummy.
No prawns, so hubby made do with chips, but 20mins from last day before Xmas break, so expected.
Will go again, will recommend.

We don't mind too much about the 45 minute wait but when our breakfast came out my avo and toast was asseble yourself and the bacon and eggs on toast my partner ordered came with only 1 egg menu clearly states 2, and this was so over cooked he said it was power inside and the bacon was completely cold.

Well sadly this was one of my go-to places to come and relax while we chatted and had a coffee but over the years it has gone down hill not to mention I was promised a free coffee because of a order they keep getting wrong weeks after weeks and I was promised by a manager online but until they fix these issues I’m not going back, This is just sad

Staffs are really need proper training. I’ve been there so many times as that’s the closest one. There is mid aged lady with black frame glasses is way too rude. Sounds and looks so challenging. Everytime I get served by her, i feel that racism. She doesn’t have to be kind to customers but at least she doesn’t have to be rude. I’m going to cut off my vip membership and never go back here again. Can’t believe big franchises have staff like her.

Really disappointed:
No chairs available for the table, so we sit on the bench area.
The hot chocolate was warm, hot chocolate was ordered.
Drinks came ten minutes before the food.
Hush brown was poorly fried and cold.
Bacon was almost cold too.
They forgot to bring chips ordered.
Beef hamburger was too small for the size of the bread, the same for the brekkie burger.
By the way, the staff were nice trying to fix the mistakes. However, I don’t recommend this branch as the experience was dissatisfied.
We use to go to Warnbro branch, the food over there is delicious.
Good sizes for hamburgers and cook nicely.

Ordered egg on toast with addition of hash-brown. Tasted well. I’ll rate it 10/10 than other branches. Environment was calm. Table was neat with good ambiance and customer service.

Bit pricey but it was well worth it. Got a giant omelette made my own way that was delicious would go again!

Overall a good branch of this cafe. Staff could use some more training (seemed to just be inexperience with the table system) and napkins/cutlery/menus and table water could be better displayed. Food was good, I had the eggs benny with Halloumi which was very good, though egg whites were a little googly on the poached eggs, and my brunch partner had the BLT which they also enjoyed.

The coffee club, my favourite place to grab a cup of coffee and catch up with friends and family mainly because it has outdoor seating, good natural lighting and good service. What more do you want.

We love coffee club in most shopping Centres and have often been to cockburn but today was a big disappointment the last 2 times it was far from good today it was terrible first the chips were cold and looked awful then the bacon sandwich the bacon tasted of and was lots of small pieces and very fatty I couldn’t eat it.
The staff were fine I asked to replace chips with fresh ones which they did but I didn’t bother about bacon sandwich.sorry but I will give this one a miss in future.

Had breakfast this morning and was disappointed, we only had bacon and eggs the menu said tomato and when it came the tomato was just 3 cherry tomatoes cut in half, not even cooked just raw and the bacon tasted like it had been per cooked and reheated since then I haven’t felt well at all and I hope it wasn’t your reheated bacon …. Reheating meat is a very risky thing!

I don’t usually leave bad reviews but was left very disappointed with todays experience.
Ordered the cauliflower and avocado salad for my partner, they asked if we wanted to add chicken to salad which we said no.
Ordered myself a bacon and egg roll.
After a very lengthly wait (which I understand because they were busy), our order came out as a plate of just fried cauliflower for my partner, I told the waiter this isn’t what we ordered and that we ordered a salad, he said “that’s what the docket said” and made no attempt to offer to change or fix it, just walked off.
My roll had no bacon at all, it was just egg and hash brown and sauce.
Didn’t bring us cutlery either, had to go ask for some. Wont be coming back here.

Good fresh food. Cheaper than Jamaica blue! And much nicer service. Nice clean space. Great coffee!

Lovely service and food didn’t take long to come out. Special thank you to your front of house staff with the efficiency and warming attitude, and they wore masks so it made us feel more safe. Great job

Would always go to Coffee Club in Canning Vale but the Cockburn Gateway was disappointing with the size of their flat grill. They're about the size of cutting a regular sandwich into 4 triangles. Paid $16.50 for it and felt like I got half the usual size.

Just really good old fashioned service, coffee, staff friendly, meals and portion sizes are great and the price is right

This place has gone downhill big time, cold food and disgusting coffee, the last 3 visits have been very disappointing, I use to love the coffee here unfortunately the last 3 cups have been undrinkable swill, I won’t be back

Awful service. Cold and incorrectly/ over cooked food that took ages to come out. Directing us to use the online ordering system that doesn’t even work. Took about 1.5 hours to have breakfast here

Haloumi should be crispy on the outside. Eggs should be presented on top of bread, not under it. You can’t just whack half an avo on a plate and expect customers to be thrilled. When you’re paying $25 for a big breakfast, there is some expectation that it will be properly cooked and presented. A slice on lemon on my plate? The chef should make the decision of whether something should be seasoned with lemon juice, not me.

I have had mixed experience with coffee here. A few times coffee was great. And a couple of times not that good, turning bit milky. Nevertheless presentation is great Desserts are delicious. Tiramisu is my fav and would recommend. Unfortunately the place is not open late any day (used to be open late on Thursday).
