The Chart & Map Shop

Hi I need to reach out about an order. This is the third method that I've used to reach out about an order that been paid for but received no email. What the heck guys. Please just drop me a line.

Placed an order in January, received order in May. No communication from The Chart & Map Store on progress or delay, absolutely unacceptable. Will NOT be visiting their online store again!

A great shop in the heart of Fremantle with friendly and very knowledgeable staff. A wide range of maps, globes, and books to which I keep returning for time and again. An excellent place to start when hunting for a present.

Must be a very busy shop. Rang 5 times in a day to see if they had an item in stock and the phone was never answered.
Tried to order the item online but couldn't get any idea of when it might be delivered so in the end it was easier to order the item from the UK

Very snooty service. We felt unwelcome and in the way, the staff more interested in setting up displays than promoting the merchandise. Staff not knowledgeable, or else unwilling to share knowledge of stock beyond a wave of the hand to a shelf. Basically an unwelcoming self service store.

Perfect for nautical publications and equipment but you can also find maps, travel guides and a good selection of related books and collectables.

My experience buying on-line has been just a disaster

Bought a simple 4WD guide and waited for more than 10 working days and I live close to Perth CBD!

Called and emailed them few times, not able to provide a tracking number, not able to explain what’s happened.

And I’ve consciously chosen a WA book shop even though a Mel one was selling the same item 4 $ cheaper and delivered in 3/4 business days.

Maybe better to go in person there or chose another place.
For my experience I definitely cannot recommend

These guys might be ok if you know what you want and order online but don't expect any service if you ring. First stated they were busy and would ring me straight back and didn't, then cut me off twice on the phone an hour later, then finally spoke to someone who was either clueless or unwilling to help at all. Had no knowledge of maps and wasn't willing to try. Ordered elsewhere.

Very disappointed, we have supported your shop for many years.
Ordered a text book for maritime studies months ago, never got a call or email. Went to the shop to enquire, the girl behind the counter couldn't even get off her chair to be bothered to look for it and tells me it has been sold as it wasn't picked up. Today I search the net for the same book and there it is listed for sale by "The Chart and Map Shop". Disappointed doesn't come close after the service we received yesterday.
Needless to say you have lost us as a customer and will be ordering online from now on.

Awesome. Very friendly young lady helped us. You could spend a day there and still not see everything. Great place for the travellers.

My number 1 go to for any books that are related to the sea and maritime education. It's actually a brilliant place to buy books as gifts that you won't find at the usual book outlets.

My friend bought me a map of Perth here for me.
There are world maps and books, many things.
Large wall maps also provide coatings.

For anyone with wanderlust this is the shop for you! Great service and great products. Absolutely adore this shop.

Truly deadly maps. Chart game, not sure. Solid lamination (big up liz). Heart and soul of freo really. Without maps we'd all float off into space! Crazy times.

Excellent selection of local national and international maps. A great spot if you are a traveller or tourist anywhere in the world.

Love this shop! Some really fabulous & fun things to browse & buy! Perfect place for travellers, planners, dreamers, readers & people who are looking for something just a little different!

They have some good books and Flags. The two girls were friendly and helpful but definetly going back to get some Chritmas gifts

Okay so this might be premature as I only just ordered my map and you never know what might happen from here.but.so far this store has ticked all my boxes. Concise, extraordinarily thorough and sassy to boot (sassy might be the wrong word, let's go with witty instead). If the map is as entertaining as the rest of the process I will be mighty pleased.

Very interesting things you won't find anywhere else. The smell of the shop is quite unique, possibly comes with that kind of a territory?
