The Carine Glades Tavern reviews
71 Been waiting over an hour now for garlic bread entree, just arrived - well done carine glades tavern.
Thank you for your offer of a $100 voucher. I will not be taking you up on this offer however. Please donate the $100 to charity on my behalf.
This place has improved considerably since our last visit across both food and service. Definitely coming again. Popular with the plain t-shirt wearing dad crew.
The food was OK. The service was good, but a couple of TV'S not working during the Brisbane semi-final.
Our local. Never disappointed. Great atmosphere with friendly service. Variety of dishes. Highly recommend
Great overall pub. Kids enjoyed the playground. Food and service was decent. I'd recommend.
Very friendly service from Mel and Coby. Curry was delicious and tender. Fish and chips, so crunchy and good quality. Thank you chef. See you again.
Didnt think it could get worse, but tonight proved me wrong! Processed engineered roast pork (with cranberry sauce) Guinness from the grave, and staff who cant figure out who’s next in line…when there’s only two people in the line. Garbage all round. Again.
Came here for the playground and it was great for the kids indeed. Food quality and taste didn't worth the price. I ordered beef pie which came burned despite a long waiting time. I was really disappointed. Wouldn't recommend if you're looking for a great meal but yes for the playground.
Steak was not cooked as per request, salad had no dressing and was very basic. They were not busy at the time. Staff were good.
Worst experience ever. Food used to be good but it was just an ordinary food with bland taste. We had to wait for approx 40 mins for our entree then further 1 hour for mains. Yes it was busy but not all covers were occupied and that is not an excuse. Ordered crispy pork belly for wife which was not crispy at all and i had a chicken parmi which was ordinary. Surely they have changed chef as food used to be better that’s why i choose here to celebrate my birthday after a hard day at work. Reading recents comments indicates it is going downhill. Never again going back and won’t be recommending. On a Positive side drinks were served on time and service staffs were doing their best. You need to review your kitchen staffing and quality of delivery of what promised on menu to what you put on the tabke.
Had lunch today. Food was good and plentiful. What made it special was our waiter Andrew. What a delightful young man! Attentive, fun, had all the ‘mature’ women wishing we were 50 years younger. Thank you so much Andrew- you outdid yourself.
Came for dinner with family and in-laws.
Seemed nice environment with a playground for kids. However, many many issues.
1. Waited 15 minutes for 1st round at front bar, no one else in front of me. Waiter disappeared after half pouring a soft drink and never returned.
2. Ordered food through Me&u app. Description of Chicken Panini was wrong. Said came with Grilled Halloumi, but came with Brie instead.
3. Steak came out with entrées, over done.
4. Kids chicken nuggets were burnt, near black.
5. Chips over cooked, soggy as they had been waiting too long under a heat lamp.
6. Other Mains came out 30 minutes after 1st persons main.
7. Had to show proof of ordering a wine with food order on my email, before they would serve it to us.
6. Taste issue with burgers/panini's.
Looking around when we sat down, not a busy night and can't see a reason for what we received. Staff seemed apologetic, but all in all a lackluster experience.
Will not be returning.
Went for lunch recently, warmly welcomed by Emma and Nick. Great service all round. Decent tap list. Good food; I had the Poke Bowl and will definitely have it again.
The only thing to fault was the ruckus coming from the kitchen, though it was quite busy.
I had a very positive experience here last night service wise, good tavern service in Perth can be really hard to get. I would come back just for the service.
I deduct one star because I ordered prawns on the side of my meal for $8 and only got 3, and my Caesar salad didn’t have any egg on it as stated in the menu which was a bit disappointing. So the food could use so improvement.
Overall a very positive customer service experience.
Was relaxing with my kids on a Friday pm after work at approx 5: 30pm waiting on some friends arriving on our table which can sit x6 outside in the alfresco area when Tom the Assistant Manager came out after I had ordered (and received) drinks and snacks waiting on my friends to arrive And he said in a very final way, “unfortunately you have to move, the table is booked” I politely expressed I was unhappy as there was nothing on the table to say it was booked and was happy with the table. No apology just the statement.
He then proceeded to state, “there’s other tables, go to them if you want” of which I declined and said again I’m happy where we are thank you. I have friends arriving.
My 10 year old kids (twin girls) were now very uncomfortable as they could see I was getting frustrated.
He then proceeded to state, and get this… after I said I was not happy to move…“it is what it is”!
I do think the higher management should perhaps educate young Tom. Firstly on courtesy to avoid this situation, ESPECIALLY in front of children. And secondly, how to treat patrons with respect. This behaviour was disgusting from an Assistant Manager. Really not happy with how this was dealt with. So hence why I am writing this. I moved because of how my kids were feeling (and looking) and to take the steam out the situation but why could Tom not do this in the first instance! Not what I expect from this establishment at all.
I would not recommend the curry, s they were all of a very poor standard the kids chicken nugets wer over cooked and the service was not good either will defantly not be going back again
Must be the hardest place in Perth to get a beer. Never enough staff on, always empty glasses everywhere and frustrated customers waiting to be served.
The only thing keeping it going is the location.
Needs a refresh in management.
I think smiles cost extra, and the Cherry tomatoes were missing from the salt and pepper squid entree. Pedantic, one might say, but it left a sour taste in the mouth. The flies were plentiful though.
Used to be 5 stars, now only just comes in at a mere 1… steak sandwich was dry and way over cooked? Menu has changed for the kids, popcorn chicken is too spicy… bring back the dinosaur nuggets, we used to go there twice a week, today there was broken glass in the play ground and not a staff member in sight to clean it up, my wife cleaned it up so the other kiddos were safe…
Good size serves on their parmi night. Great salt and pepper squid, wish the do a mains serve. The chips on my parmi was overwhelming too salty. Maybe just an error in salting the chips.
