40 Dont.look at the photos of the food as its nothing like what you get dished up
We ordered the squid tentacles, there was more batter than squid and they were so tiny compared
to the photo and the oil was over the top. We couldnt eat it, so left hungry and dissapointed
On the way home i felt sick and my stomach was yuk
Never go there again
Went in to celebrate a 50th birthday and took the cake in an hour earlier before our booking which was no issues.
When everyone finished their meals we had asked the staff for the birthday cake. The cake was placed on the table in the box with the candles and a knife placed on top in front of the person who’s birthday it was. - which we thought was very strange considering most places bring the cake out with the candles lit.
The food was great but wasn’t impressed we had to light our own candles with the tea light candles on the table
We went as a couple on a Wednesday for my husband’s birthday lunch. Two out of three of our order were unavailable (the oysters and crispy skin duck). The haloumi was too sweet. The prawn cocktail we had in place of the oysters was a big serve but just ok. The stuffed mushroom that we had in place of the duck was the nicest dish of the lot but still nothing to write home about. The waitress was very nice though and service was fast.
Great share plates, generous serves.
Order and pay at the bar as you go, American Express cards are not accepted. Meals are served to your table
Food and environment is great! But service, menu details and set up was lacking.
We reserved a table and were given a small cocktail type table. We werent given menus or explained how the service worked, staffed seem a bit blasé, and i think they assumed we had been there before. The menu didn't have any key on it to say what has a gluten free option, vegetarian or vegan. The menu is tappas style but the table wasn't big enough to have share platters all over it. The plates given were small and oddly shaped, so you'd often flip them trying to cut your food. We ordered a seafood platter. And there was nothing to use to crack the whole crab and no wash bowl or extra napkins provided.
The food was great but the whole experience seemed awkward, disjointed and underwhelming. I'd recommend this place e if you want to sit and drink with a few nibbles to share. But not so much for a dinner experience.
Fab atmosphere. Very friendly staff.
Small but delicious menu.
One meal got forgotten.but was resolved with 110% service.
Recommend and look forward to enjoying another meal soon.
The restaurant looks amazing! And beautiful views all the way around.
Unfortunately the service was not the best.
Excellent service and food was amazing. Stocking only the best wines and beer so expect to pay for it. Plans for expansion and bar on the deck will make it extremely popular. Food is made to share plates etc. Suggest booking a table if you want views etc. On hot nights this area is a little cooler than the others in the food strip, but a light top in case of a breeze may be in order.
Enjoy
This place has a great share style menu. The food is great and they have a good menu. But, be careful, don't over order as the meal sizes are generous.
The wine list is good, with prices starting from around $40 a bottle and they have some contemporary cocktails.
Place and pay for orders at the bar (American Express cards are not accepted). Take your drinks back to your table, meals are then served to your table.
AMAZING. I was unsure at first as it’s just share plates and I was pretty hungry. We shared 2 things and some bread…. The sourdough starter is by far the best I’ve ever had! We also had the fish skewers and the squid tentacles… was literally amazing and I was sooo full. Good serving sizes, amazing food, could not fault a thing. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu! - Kelsey
Lovely new share menu of fresh fish dishes, ours was cooked to perfection. Great prices for good portion size. Adult oriented and slightly posh, will be returning very soon
The best new Player in Town other Restaurants must watch out.nothing negative only great experience with a quality dining
Enjoyed the experience! Great food along with an excellent bar staff & service personnel. Well done!
RUDE!
Went there to try a few drinks and order a meal and the greeting my partner got when he went to order drinks as we all do order a drink enjoy the view then go order some food was just bloody rude! The man at the counter said "No you have to buy food" partners response was we will but we just wanna enjoy a drink first he then asked if he was sure and said we have to buy food though. Very rude and blunt he did let us order a drink though then when it came out well what a WASTE of time that was the sarcasm from the gentleman was uncalled for I asked for a cocktail with no bubbles as I can't drink bubbles and the way he placed it on the table and said "no bubbles" was condescending, rude and with attitude. Had one mouthfull and decided nope its time to go. 1 because the drink was like a cup of lime juice was meant to be a "very Berry mojito" looked pretty but no other taste then lime and my partners drink well pretty sure he forgot to put the alcohol in that as well.
2 because of how rude the staff were.
We then went and had dinner at our usual spot and roughly 1 hour later we walked past and our drinks were STILL sitting on the table so no one is cleaning up there either.
Don't waste your time.
Best dining experience by far, during our recent trip to mandurah.great vibe also.here and brewvino plus the pennisula is all you need.
Amazing warm welcome full of energy and fun. Menu is amazing, great drinks selection. We’ve found our new local!
We spent this weekend at Mandurah and had both lunch and dinner here, I have to say the food is top notch, oysters were amazing, very fresh & wild caught, the service was first class, assistant manager Ashton was very friendly and polite, explained the menu thoroughly & was very attentive, the bar staff were also very polite & welcoming, for a very new business that are just finding their feet they keep their standards very high, keep doing what you are doing guys and you will flourish in time, other restaurants in the area need to raise their game.
Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Great experience for dinner lastnight. From seat and greet to wine recommendations at the bar we were off to a great start. After taking in the lovely atmosphere of the venue we decided to order a few different meals to share. They came out staggered which was perfect for us and our style of dinning. The cheese burger sliders and chicken wings were our favourites. All the staff were so friendly and consistent, a special thank you to Sarah who was super lovely and really added to our experience. We look forward to comming back.
Rare night out without kids. Loved steamed prawn and ginger dumplings we ordered 3 plates! Wine list is exceptional and eclectic. Yum! Would drive an hour to come here again. Thanks.
We had a very enjoyable Sunday night dinner. Friendly staff, lots of interesting meals to choose from, good sized meals, very pleasant atmosphere, very reasonable prices. They have done a great job in fitting it out. Sean, the manager was pleasant and helpful, happy to have a quick chat.
