The Black Truffle

Black truffle used to be the best place to grab a roll. My friend and I just drove 20 minutes to get one of their fresh rolls and we were extremely disappointed. They have changed the rolls from freshly baked crusty rolls to disgusting soft hot dog rolls from Cole’s. Not only were the rolls disgusting but they were also stale and more pricier. Worst roll I have ever purchased. The new owners have changed something that they should have kept the same and now have lost me as a customer and all of my friends who also loved black truffle. I will be spreading the word.

Good coffee, they have Bonsoy for their soy milk too. Hot chocolate just tasted like milk through, wish it had more chocolate in it

The Brie scrumptious, the meats delicious, the Rocky Road YUM, presentation lovely

I don't often leave reviews but this is worth it. The best coffee I have ever had. The banana bread was also un real. Thank you so much The Black Truffle, I will certainly be back!

Very nice place with a huge variety of homemade products. They have a large variety of fresh salads and rolls there are also homemade sausage rolls and pasties Something for everyone

With the increased rotation of new starff it has been a challenge to get a consistent coffee or consistent hot chocolate.
Additionally, several times in the last monthI have been given the wrong foods such that I'm required to return items. I don't have the time to do that!

Beautiful store for little treats, lunches and more! A bit like the Boat Shed on a smaller scale. Fairly expensive but worth it.

Im still waiting for this place to be good. Im a local and I wish it was - I only go there because there isn't anywhere else available in Nth Fremantle.yet.

Delicious and addictive. The roles they make are so good! They have plenty of other lunch options and salads as well. Coffee is pretty good too.

Interview scheduled for 11: 30, received text at 10: 35 whilst driving there asking to push interview back to 11: 30, I accepted and waited around. Was then told at 11: 09 they couldn't make the interview and if we could reschedule to next day. Completely wasted my time and effort, huge red flag so I didn't bother rescheduling. Sick of employers and potential employers treating staff and potential staff like they are expendable.

Always good coffee and great deli produce. Just wish they would incentivise people to BYO cup with a small discount.

Great place to grab an amazing coffee and a quick bite. They make delicious rolls and sandwiches to order.

A nice selection of sweet treats to be enjoyed. I bought the Berry blondie slice and it was amazing. The salmon and salad roll was delicious. Very well made with fresh ingredients.

Delicious prepared meals look amazing and I will be back to buy one of the pesto spaghetti meals.

The truffle products for sale are divine. The truffle oil is top quality and the best truffle oil I have ever tasted. Some great gift ideas available. The young lady that made my roll was so friendly and helpful. Great customer service.

Had the rolls here for lunch ($9.50), fairly basic but the bread was nicely toasted. Store is beautiful inside, lots of gifts.

Finally a caterer who makes salads that taste like they’re from a kitchen of love married with skill. No request was too much trouble and the lovely and accommodating owner Jo, offered more than what was asked for at every step of the way. All of our guests loved the meal, thanks so much for feeding us such delicious tasty food. Full of heart?

Burnt croissant again! Second time in a row now. Croissants cooked in a slam toaster? !? Sacre Bleu! This place is so overrated - food overpriced and service generic and fake. Coffee average. I keep saying it’s the Last time I’m going there, always feel ripped off by them.but this is the last straw. Unfortunately not many deli options in north freo - Mosman Park or Cottesloe much better.

Very pleasant staff who are willing to make up rolls to suit your taste if you are fussy!
There is a range of pastries, rolls, salads and cakes to grab and run

Just walked all the way to cafe and its closed at 5pm Friday, sign says 7pm, has wonderful food, but closed is closed.

Has been a long while since I called into Black Truffle as it's not close to home. However a reminder that I need to go back really soon. Every single thing is amazing. And worth the drive. See you soon.
