Young but experienced team with genuine enthusiasm for helping customers find the right shoes. We have been there a few times for my daughter’s school shoes, and we are always happy with the recommendation. Today's girl called Sally amazing us again with her excellent service and care.

I don't often write reviews but wanted to call out the extraordinary staff at Claremont. I took my son into the store for new shoes today, he suffers from autism amongst other things and he can be quite the challenge.he can sniff out insincerity from a mile away and his behaviour will reflect this. Several staff helped us out and were absolutely patient and respectful and I think it was probably the best experience in a shop I've had with him. It warms my heart to experience such care and understanding from others who don't know him at all. It certainly doesn't happen everywhere. It absolutely made our day. Thankyou!

My husband bought a pair of runners in December and after 4 months both shoes developed holes in the top of the shoe. He took them back to Athletes Foot in Claremont and spoke to Liam who was most helpful. Ho took photos of the shoes and said he would see what could be done. 3 hours later we got a call from Liam advising that it was a manufacturing fault and that they would replace the shoes. However they had no stock and he would arrange to obtain a pair but it would take about 2 weeks. Within 3 days we got a call from Liam advising that he had sourced a pair and we could collect them from the store. Fantastic, professional and friendly service. Thank you Liam.

Was looking at for some new runners and Jamie helped me out so much! He put my feet through the machine and got me the perfect ASIC shoes. Very soft on my feet. Hope he is rewarded. Thank Jamie!

Unwilling to help with issues regarding low quality shoes that fell apart within weeks. Clearly a violation of manufacturers warranty policy and consumer law.

Poor customer service, why would anyone purchase shoes from this store is beyond my understanding.

Not helpful during the sale and holding up warranty after the sale. No wonder their stores are dying out being replaced by new retailers with decent service or online stores.

I had the most disheartening customer experience. I don’t wish anyone ever goes through this. I purchased a pair of HOKA shoes, I was very excited to be wearing them because of the extra cushioning but shortly after and no more than 2 months, the heel cushioning started to come off and while walking, I felt a sharp object against my Achilles which made wearing the shoes unbearable. I took the shoes back to Athletes foot and I sensed immediate resistant towards myself. I was advised that, this is not a manufacturing defect and there’s nothing they could do about it. Every major brand in the world, would guarantee quality for at least a year and it’s shocking to see the HOKA shoes fall apart after 2 months. Maybe it was a faulty pair and the least athletes foot can do is replace the shoes for me. I’m sure there’s a process where they will send back faulty shoes back to the distributer and it’s sad to see them leaving me helpless. I will make sure everyone around me, purchase their product from the official store or online as they have reasonable customer protection policies and not like athletes foot where it seems as they value profit over customer retention.

After visiting 4 different shoe stores, looking for one specific pair of runners my podiatrist told me to get, The Athlete's Foot in Claremont had them. I called, and they were put aside for me. Zac, the salesperson was the epitome of professionalism, and kindness. He noticed I was in some discomfort from the thing that had me needing the specific shoes, and got me a cup of water. After I was finished, no rush, I got my shoes, had my old ones boxed up, and away I went. Would definitely go there again.

If you are looking for a professional and highly personal approach to buying the right shoes, then you can't go past the team at The Athlete's Foot in Claremont. What impressed me the most was not just the sales experience but more the after sales experience which is just not common these days. Well done to Michelle and the team.
