Had an early New Year's Eve dinner. Service, food, and atmosphere top notch! Have been many times and always grrat food. Never disappoints!

Been searching for a good authentic one.finally found it. Best Thai Food in perth.to name a few dishes Fried Rice, Red curry, Curry Puffs, Spring rolls, Stir-fry vege, Massaman curry, Chicken Mince salad.yummy, yummy, yummy!

I booked for 15 people to celebrate a family birthday. Staff was very helpful. The lady answering the phone helped me with the items and suggested vegan and non-veg options to fit the price within my budget. Food was very nice and fresh. Service also very good. I will recommend your restaurant to anyone. Thank you to everyone.

What a fantastic place. I lived in Thailand for many years and this food was as authentic as could be. Such a great place for a family event. I can’t wait to come back. Well done peeps

Such a cute and cosy Thai place They have such a warm ambience with amazing entreè and mains with some beautiful desserts Loved their curry puffs and mango sticky rice dessert.

I have only had positive experiences with Thai Orchid after moving to Mount Lawley a year ago. Some of these reviews are not at all reflective of my recent visits.
A beautiful extensive menu with some dishes it is rare to see outside of Thailand. I was so curious about this and was able to chat to one of the lovely new owners. He lived in Thailand for years!

I have visited this restaurant several times with my parents. This is the first time I visited with my partner. We loved the interior and it goes very well with the traditional theme with wait staff uniforms, menu, table setup. Loved it! This is a very unique place. Food was amazing! There was no MSG added to food and tasted fresh, which is very difficult to find in an Asian restaurant these days! I noticed it is newly licensed so we took our wine bottle back, but their wine list was great, it catered for all and they are from well known wineries. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was not up to expected standard. Bland and undercooked. Restaurant was virtually empty. Never again. Had to send food back to kitchen.

Visited Thai Orchid recently and was greeted by positive staff and pleased to see a change in decor. Curries fantastic as always with yummy starters. Look forward to our next meal!

Presentation was amazing and service was nice. They didn’t have cutlery on our table and hasn’t given us any. We took from the tables next to us.

The wait for our food was bad. It took 30 minutes for our entrees and another 20 minutes for the main to come out. The rice was lukewarm.

The food was delicious though.

Improvement on wait times and ensuring food (such as rice) doesn’t sit out would go a long way.

Giving this place 1 star is generous. Used to come all the time with my family and it was our favourite restaurant. New owners have made me never want to come back again. It felt like a scene from a movie, honestly a joke. Our starters didn’t come until half of our main had been served and an hour after we ordered. We then proceeded to wait another hour for our 1 serve of steamed rice our curry sat there going cold. And not the mention the price. $32 for a curry with 4 pieces of beef is a mockery. And we couldn’t even eat it as we never got our rice. Table next to us also waited an hour and a half and never got their curry so they left as well. Devastating end to our Valentine’s Day and a real shame considered what a great place it was.

Pre organised party and Owner was very helpful of choosing the menu selection for our event according to our budget, food was great and good service on that night, everyone had enjoyed the meal. I Will recommend to anyone to go and check out. I will go again️

Authentic delicious food. Efficient friendly service. Affordable. A regular of Thai Orchid! I like to mix it up, both dine in and take away. Always leaves me happy & full. Favourite dish is Chu Chee Fish.

The worst Thai food I have ever had. We ordered a Pad Thai and green curry. Literally, we were there for 2min and the food came out. It must've already been cooked before we ordered. The Green curry and rice was like slop. We were there for a total of 15min and we had ordered, eaten and finished our meal. Very expensive and a terrible experience overall. I gave a 1 star because I can't give a 0!

Use to be my go to Thai but it has gone badly down hill lately. Food is very average and service is not good at all.

Our most recent experience wasn't a good one. This restaurant has recently changed owners, and while the food was lovely, that's all the good I have to say. The service was very slow, the restaurant freezing cold despite giving feedback twice (when we were the only table left), they gave us a bottle of water to top ourselves up when we ordered dessert, they served food on chipped plates, and to top it off they refused to honour our gift voucher, then scrambled to find change anyway. The best they had to say was they have a 10% discount on Wednesdays and refused to offer that when they couldn't even come up with change. Very sad to say we'll never be going back.

We went for a group function. The food was delicious with prompt service and the staff were quick and efficient. They also accommodate my diet requirements (I am vegetarian and do not like chili).

The Beef Massaman curry is out of this world. This restaurant has been a favorite for years, the service and food is always excellent.
