Thai Junction reviews
46A nice venue, lots of options to choose from on the menu, service is quick. Ordered the pad thai but I found it a bit too sweet and overpowering.
As a food enthusiast, I had the pleasure of exploring a remarkable restaurant that exceeded my expectations in every way possible. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the cozy ambiance and the decor that had intricate Thai details. The staff were incredibly professional, offering a warm welcome and a personalized service that made us feel right at home.
Now, let's talk about the food. I was blown away by the authenticity of every dish we ordered. The flavors were rich, complex and well-balanced, showcasing the chef's skill with Thai ingredients and spices. I particularly loved the Pad Thai, which was served in a traditional way with crispy bean sprouts and roasted peanuts. The presentation of every dish was impeccable, making each one a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds.
Overall, I would say that this restaurant is a hidden gem that deserves more recognition. It's the perfect spot for a date, a family dinner, or a casual night out with friends. If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience that combines tradition and innovation, this is the place to be.
Great place. Food really nice. Staff are friendly.
Little outdoor area, with heater.
BYO.
Plenty of parking.
The food is better than the service. I like the aesthetics of the restaurant, but it gets pretty loud. I didn't think acoustics were a thing until I went here. I give 4 stars because the food was quite good. Gets pretty busy, so you typically wanna book.
We have been here many times for lunch. Some times for the lunch specials some times we ordered from the menu, we have never been disappointed.
The food is great, the prices are reasonable and the service is good.
Great food a little noisy when busy and a few things not bought to the table when asked but great night out!
Although busy we still recived our meal quickly. Better than most. Popular with many customers dining in and masses of takeaway. Excellent food.

Finally stepped into this Thai restaurant. Note that they are closed for afternoon siesta’s! Lol:)
Having lived in Thailand for a good number of years and enjoying service and food there, my expectations for Thai food in Australia is high.
Decor is modern, clean, industrial and a little rustic:) beautiful.
I ordered the Tom Yum lunch special and Mad Beef.
Dishes came out fairly quick and they both tasted authentic. I would come back again to enjoy the food. Meats used were fresh and of good quality. Both the chicken and beef in the dishes ordered were succulent and not chewy.
Vegetables were fresh too!
Overall good experience. The two ladies serving were quick and polite but I have to note that the service standards overseas and here at home are different.
Highly recommended
Lovely food here. Very fresh. Very tasty. Friendly, efficient, professional staff. Casual dining. Highly recommended.
An amazing Thai restaurant, all dishes are wonderful, their service also really fantastic, strongly recommend
Got the food from Ubereats, highly disappointed. What to say no taste at all. Too much salt on chiken and cashew nut and noodles are soo mild
We have been there 3 times this month, it's very very clean, staffs are magnificent, food is amazing and the price is very reasonable. We would be definitely going there whenever we feel like Thai food.
We have been here twice so far. Thai curries and stir fries are great along with reasonable price and the staff are also friendly.
However the Northeastern Larb salad is a disappointment as it was fried was expecting the traditional larb salad with the mince meat.
The family was too lazy to drive all the way to the city for thai so we decided to try Thai junction which is closer to home.
Service here was friendly and punctual, the atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice and clean.
We ordered:
1. Steamed barramundi in lemon sauce - the table really enjoyed this dish, sour and refereshing.
2. Pad thai- very flavourful with omelette wrapping.
3. Tom yum- delicious and right amount of sourness and spice. Plenty of ingredients in the soup as well.
4. Pineapple fried rice- not a big fan of this dish, not much flavour, couldn't see much pineapple, the dish tasted like turmeric powder.
6. Papaya salad- not the best we've had but still quite nice. The portion seems a bit smaller than other places, and we felt not spicy enough. We'll ask for hotter version next time.
7. Crispy pork belly in garlic and pepper sauce - we loved this dish, such a simple but delicious dish!
We hope they'll keep the same standard for our future visits!
Service is good, we ordered green curry beef with rice, tom yum soup with king prawn and stir fried horfun for lunch. Reasonable portion at this price, taste is good as you can taste wok hey in stir fried dish, but personally I think they can do a bit more spicier on those dishes will definitely come back and try other dishes next time!
Yummmm good delicious food and good fresh quality. I don’t expect much after read a few bad reviews but this one actually impress me food is amazing if you want something like Thailand this is good place to try. Don’t listen to bad reviews try it yourself
I was just craving an authentic, spicy, chicken fried rice and decided to order from here through door dash. Initially, I thought the quantity was not good for the price but for just one person it was fine. It came steaming, so it was definitely made fresh. It really satisfied the cravings, and I'll definitely be trying trying more dishes soon as this is my local Thai that I hadn't tried yet and it definitely seems like an authentic Thai place.
Great Thai restaurant in the south. Good ambience. We arrived before peak hour for lunch so no problem with seats.
We ordered: tamarind fried barramundi (which is our favourite everywhere else and it’s yummy), but you do need lots of rice to go with it as it’s very salty.
Also, crispy pork belly with green (standard but I like the heat of chili, so not child friendly).
We also had their Pad Thai, which I love the sauce! So aromatic!
Plenty of parking outside as well which is another bonus.
The only small down I will expect is when we were seated down with little toddler, should someone ask if high chair is required and where to get kids cutleries (which we were seated at the blind spot and figured out from other people). As we were sitting in the corner so we decided to get the high chair located outside and found it’s very dusty. But no big deal, we still left happily.
We will return to try other dishes on the menu again.
Ordered takeaway drove half hour each way to pickup. Food was too spicy to eat even though we requested mild spiciness. Literally had dumped chilli flakes on top. Ended up having to drive to maccas to get a bite for dinner instead.
