After 3 visits and building a rapport with my hairdresser (second) having 3 haircuts I thought I would trust him with a colour just a high lift colour no bleach as my hair is very fine and not much of it.big mistake, spoke to him before we started making it quite clear no toner, on my hair it goes purple or ashy however you want to say. Anyway he went and started another haircut came back about 35 min later and told me my hair has taken real well. In the meantime he went of and spoke to his colleague with the colour chart in hand, then washed colour out and decided he would have to put toner on top. Not happy by this stage 1 hour and 45 min had passed he finished of hair with a trim and a blow dry, by this stage I could really tell the colour it was awful.then wanted to charge me for the toner and a hair cut which was just a trim.won’t be back

Clean. Friendly staff. A must for Asian hair cut by Asians. Colouring, blow dry, straightening, highlights and haircuts. Served with a drink.
After finding this place, I doubt I'd go anywhere else.

Friendly and very professional team. Zack was great taking care of my messy curly hair. Not many hairdressers know how to cut and style the different types of hair. Prices are great for the value they offer. The only problem is the parking, better get the train.

Great shop. Love my colour. Just be very very clear on your cut or trim. My issue was that I thought I made it clear I didn't want a cut just a tiny trim. Unfortunately way too much was taken off. It's too bad because I was very happy with the colour and stylists. Very nice people, I just feel I wasn't listened to about the trim.
I guess just make sure they understand what YOU want and everyone is in agreement before you start.

Amazing results, great colour and haircut, very happy with the job the styllist did. She was very friendly too. Beautiful space with large mirrors, nice atmosphere. Quite expensive, but worth it)

I cannot recommend this salon enough. The entire atmosphere is so friendly an encouraging. I had Benji as my stylist, with his help I achieved going form a dark brown to a vivid red. If you're looking for beautiful colors or even a simple style I recommend him highly. I'm so happy with my new hair!

Some very skilled stylists here, however two of my previous stylists have recently left and the new one was a bit rough with my hair. Also didn't like being swapped between different staff members to colour, wash, style and cut, only seeing the stylist very briefly some visits. Great location, atmosphere and products.

I loved my experience at Tao of Hair. Zach did wonders on my grown-out cut, was in my price range and just the right level of chatty. I left looking 100% better than I did when I walked in. The baisens were amazing and a real highlight of the salon.

Love seeing the crew at Tao. I always love doing crazy things to my hair, ever since maybe a year ago i started seeing Kawada, I have never been happier! He literally made a mullet look amazing on me! I've had undercuts to yolandi visser styles and all have looked amazing. It is worth saving a few extra $$ and going to this salon- I walk in these days and pretty much let them do what they want to my hair- that's how much trust I have! Worth every cent!

Great service, booked in for blow dry before a wedding and they were professional, reasonably priced and did a great job
