Tambrah Mine Camp reviews
7 Pilbara Mineral's site
Accommodation where mostly subcontractor workers stay.
There is a newly built gym, and although it does not have a large capacity, the quality of the meals is excellent.
They sometimes make meat or burgers on the spot at the barbecue area right next to Turban (a place that sells alcohol).
The best thing is not allowing smoking in front of the room
If you go to Admin, you can rent a locker for free for a week, so it's a good idea to get the key before flying out.
This camp itself is another camp, the food was good and the view was really nice when the lightning storms come over at night.
Worker were quite friendly and a happy face at the bar.
Yes! Mess food is good as with facilities like gym and weights room. There is Tennis nets and Basketball court. There is also a shop where you check in and out with drinks, sweets etc. Bar service is good, but 4 cans per day as is the norm, you can also order meals from the bar. Dongers are clean and maintained once a week. Great service by staff at Tambrah mine camp. The only downside is that washing machines are limited so get in early to do your laundry. Hope to stay again.
Good staff and food.stayed for contract job.was the old railway construction camp.good gym and outdoor bar
Camp was very good the food was good the rooms were good. The biggest draw back is poor phone reception there is reception it's just not great. The wifi needs to be logged onto every 2 hrs it can be a bit annoying at times but they are very minor things. There is also no cold water for showers not much they can do about that in 40-50 degree heat.
It's about 30 min drive to site.
All in all its one of the better camps
Very expensive ice coffee imported from south hedland the girls are genious but can run very quick
Pilgangoora is an old-style bush camp.yet it's one of the best run camps we go to: friendly, supportive, hospitable. They can't do enough for you. Love coming down here:)
