Tall Timbers Brewing - Sports Bar reviews
10 The venue is a nice open space with great bar staff. As a local the management is lacking in the skills required of a bar manager. After 4 years of current ownership, being ignored without even a hello, how are you, when the manager Ed walks through the bar is disappointing. If you are not a female, a tourist or somebody whom he believes has money then you are out of luck, for a hello, how are you going. I have frequented pubs throughout the world for the last 35 years. This is the worst for appreciating the local drinker. Why do I come here you may ask, it's close to my house, the bar staff with the exception of two are welcoming and many people I know drink here for the same reasons.
Anyway make up your own mind or ask the locals who drink elsewhere in town.
On to the food, it went from a full menu with daily specials to a burger menu that has failed, even if the fish burger is tasty. So anyway make up your own mind, the food is better elsewhere
Despite stating it opens at 11am it certainly doesn't! Made to wait so long. Ridiculous! Avoid this place.
Went there on a sunday with my two sister in laws. Had a lovely lunch. Busy but quick service
We all make mistakes, ours was going to the Manjimup sports bar for dinner. Unfortunately I have to give it one star to be able to write a review. Avoid if possible.
Expensive, tiny servings and finished poorly.
Head to the road house for a chicken cheese sausage instead
How did I not know about this? Had to hang out while I get tyres nearby and it ticks all the boxes. I'll be back hey
Very friendly welcome. Originally from Belgium and a lover of good beers, we were able to discover and taste a local beer. I really enjoyed the Tall Timbers Pale Ale IPA. To discover.
Lovely setting, delicious pork belly bites and chicken wok. Great host felt very welcomed.
I have a garlic allergy. This usually causes problems when dinning out finding something without garlic. When I enquired what was available the Chef said anything. He would make it without. I just needed to include No garlic on the order.
My food was very tastie and my friends felt the same about their food.
Recommend anyone to visit.
We had lunch at the brewery on a Saturday in January. We ordered the pulled BBQ brisket burger and the cheeseburger and they were fab! Soft buns, delicious flavours and a generous serve of aioli with the chips. Excellent playlist (the black keys, shins, glass animals) which made me very happy! Quick service too.
