Take 2 Hair Studio & Makeup Bar

I had my hair curled here for a friend's wedding and Maree was so kind and went above and behind to ensure my thin hair looked amazing and full of body.
Definitely recommend this hair studio.

Great atmosphere and staff, very friendly venue to visit for a haircut and a chat with your hairdresser.

I was in Margaret River on a short holiday and needed my hair done for a performance that night, Tia was so lovely and fit me in within the same hour that i rung up to book an appointment.she and Eb did the most amazing job at straightening and trimming my hair.they were so fun to talk about everything

After a stressful start to my morning at home I thought I would treat myself to a wash n blow dry - it was incredible from start to finish!

I'm on holiday from the UK travelling around this wonderful country, my hair had not seen a stylist for two months and badly needed sorting out. I am really happy with my hair, Lily was brilliant, she listened to what I wanted and did a, lovely cut. Thank you very much.

As a grey nomad, I was travelling through Margaret River and needed a haircut. I was lucky enough to get an appointment at Take2 with the very lovely Nyssa who gave me the best cut I’ve had in a very long time. She took her time and made sure my hair was just right. Nyssa was a very sweet young lady, and I enjoyed our chat. The price was reasonable too. I’d certainly recommend Take2.

So the madness has calmed after our wedding on 13.8.22
On the morning of our wedding I was a complete mess with nerves and then Maree and Tiah walked in. We can't rate them highly enough. Not only did the ladies do an amazing job on our hair and make up but they managed to calm me down and make me feel relaxed for the first time in days.
They were highly professional but also warm, bubbly and fun making the morning chilled and a fantastic way to start my day.

1st time customer. Welcoming, lovely, friendly staff. The apprentice (sorry forget your name) did a great job of my teens hair, colouring and cutting. Will def come back again.

Jane did a brilliant job of colour correcting and blending root grow out with babylights. A very warm, attentive, highly skilled hairdresser who really knows what she is doing. Finding a good hairdresser who can ‘do blonde’ isn’t easy. Jane is worth gold. Very impressed.

Super happy with my experience here! I called up in the morning and was able to make an appointment for an all over colour for that afternoon. The gentleman on the phone was super helpful and kind. When I got my hair done I was looked after by Lisa, who I really got along with and could tell she really liked her job and was lovey to talk to. Their apprentice was lovely too. I’m really happy with my results and feel like my hair was well looked after

I've been coming to this salon since I was 10 years old. I am now 24 and I still get my hair done here even though I now live up north. Always loved the local service and quality. Happy every time I leave.

Jade gave me a great new style I love it and she was so friendly. Would definitely recommend this studio.

Brilliant experience. The Salon was short of staff due to illness, however they still managed to fit me in for an awesome cut thanks to Maree. It was very much appreciated as I had several functions to attend.

Quite disappointed, especially after reading other reviews. I had booked my mum in to get her hair styled for my wedding, I had advised if this at the time of booking, mum had also provided a photo reference of the style she was looking for.

What she came away with was very vaguely like what was requested, after feedback was provided to the stylist and they attempted the make alterations.

Luckily, the hairdresser we used for the bridal party had time to improve the style and achieve the look mum was going for.

Maybe this is a once off, however still very disappointing given it was mother of the bride hair styling.

Got my hair cut by Thomas. I Got exactly the cut I wanted he offered his advice and provided a great service. He does great mens cuts!

I had a regular appointment for a man cut.first: i wished i will have my haircut by the french guy, but i didnt.

I was received by a young lady. She was absolutely NOT motivated.the back of my head was cut so badly with the machine that my wife had to mend it at home.even my wife can cut hair better, even if she is not a hairdresser.maybe it has something to do with the fact that we are not australian but travelers.after 10 minutes the appointment was already done.

I paid 32$ for it.i don't know how the man cuts the hair but young woman with the piercing should learn again how to do a good service, cut good hair and become more customer friendly and motivated.

As the boss, I would dismiss her immediately.so 100% NO recommendation.i would not even go to this hairdresser for free!

What an incredible experience! First time foils and what can I say. I was blown away by the result! From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed and looked after. Thomas explained creatively what to expect and the approaches he would take. When it came to the final touches I felt so overjoyed. I smiled all the way back to Bunbury. YES!
