As a former student I really enjoyed the school, I enjoyed the classes the school’s environment and most of my teachers. In my experience this school had an excellent education and helped me a lot spiritually and academically. I came from a school where I experienced with bullying from students and staff. But at SCC they made sure that my school experience was a positive one and a safe one. Forever thankful to the staff there and to God for equipping them with kind hearts and for educating the future of our community.

This school has few good teachers. One of the year 12 teachers for math is a media teacher. He has not got the qualifications to teach math let alone teaching the year about to graduate!
The bathroom situation is so bad! We now have bathrooms assigned to your year group to prevent 'antisocial behaviours and vaping'!

We had to move to Perth mid year in 2021 from interstate due to work. Other schools I enquired about didn't have the vacancy for the year levels we needed.
SCC were very accommodating and helpful in the whole process (many zoom calls due to us being interstate).
Both our children have made very good friends in the last two years and we are very happy with the school and staff.

I went there from yr 7 to term 2 year 10 and let me tell you the bullying there is horrendous. I have tried to attempt in the school bathroom not once but TWICE and the school did nothing about the bullying.

It was mostly from kids out of my grade but when I gave the school psych names of the kids in my grade I DID know she said, and j quote "we can't do anything unless we catch them". That is not an excuse, you could have told the parents or spoken to the kids. There was supposed to be a bullying announcement at an assembly that NEVER happened.

Year 8 I used stymie which was 0 help. They spoke to the students twice and then never again despite the continuation of the bullying.

Also, 1 of the teachers who I think is the head of the maths office in the senior school. Last year for exam prep during the week of year 9 camp I attended 3 exam prep days as I didn't attend the year 9 camp. For math the teacher for 1 didn't even TEACH us math but at the end of 2 of those lectures peer pressured the kids to follow jesus. Listen I understand it's a Christian school, that's fine, but I have friends who are Christian who were in those lectures that even said that it was wrong. I went to an Anglican school that also did Christian living and have similar values that NEVER did stuff like that.

This school needs to get its priorities straight because it is ridiculous how bad it is, and that's saying something as I go to a public school in ARMADALE of all places now and it is SO much better than Swan. The canteen is so much cheaper and better, bullying actually gets sorted, the school psych is actually helpful, ect.

If any parents are thinking of sending your kids here. Unless you actually have a genuine dislike for your children and somehow aren't in the dcp system don't put them here. It is a death wish upon your child and not worth it in the slightest.

EDIT: i do not WANT to see the principal because knowing both mine and OTHER STUDENTS experiences at this school there is no damn point, your response is pitiful, rather than wasting your time writing back to me maybe go FIX YOUR SCHOOL.actually HAVE a safe place put in place without bringing god into everything because i understand this is a christian school but to those like myself who are NOT christian it IS NOT GOING TO HELP!

This school has definitely gone downhill i went there year 3-9 and have suffered many issues with teachers like direct bullying even when i tell the school they don’t do anything about it then wonder why you act out.the high school got a new principle who clearly only cares about the school’s reputation not the kids.the only things i miss from that school are my friends and 3 teachers.i can almost 100% guarantee if you send your child to this school they will develop mental health issues.i hope this new principle realises that the students are what make the school look good in a way that there happy getting rid of ‘troubled kids’ isn’t helpful to the school because people talk also ringing up parents and telling them there child needs “‘christs help” (direct quote that a teacher said to my mum) is unacceptable and forcing christianity into others this school will end up being more horrible than it already is if someone doesn’t do something.think about the kids not your school’s reputation

My experience being at swan from kindy to year 10 was honestly the biggest waste of time, i wish i could get those years back and go to a school where the teachers actually care.there was no christian values ever displayed and every issue that arised; the solution was to just push it under the carpet.if you love your child at all, don’t send them here.

Average education for 8k, high cafè inflation rates, most of the EAs are old and nag me way to much, the facility's are nice atleast.

We are very happy with everything about this school. I have 3 children in the high school now. The teachers are fantastic and the opportunities available are amazing. Nothing to fault!

The inflation in the café is crazy. Start of last year it was $6. Then 4th term last year it was $6.50. Now in the year 2022, its $7. Everything else at the school is reasonable but definitely overpriced.

School is too expensive for a reasonable amount of money. The school provides lower academic education to the Children in Swan. Even some other Public schools are better. At least the staff are good and the students are kind. Overall 6/10 school. Recommended if you have lots of money.

School fees to expensive, canteen food expensive, teachers don't pay attention, the chaplens just relate everything to god and not actually giving real life advice.

It provides only an average education for a reasonably high price. It doesn't however do anything serious about bullying (just drowns the victim in Christian beliefs). As a kid that went there, I have very few good memories, apart from the students and a couple of teachers that were actually nice. This school has been around for a very long time but clearly haven't learnt from their own mistakes. They do not consider the view points of students or the parents. I had high ambitions and desired to progress myself, but after my bullying was ignored it became a real struggle. If you don't learn the main stream way, they will assume you are only good for trades. They discourage you from lowering their school rating by encouraging you not to take NAPLAN. I actually became physically sick from the stress, worries and confrontations that presented me whilst I was there. Its no surprise that the victims leave and the bullies stay. I'm however surprised their hasn't been a class action yet, but they are good at hiding the truth and nobody is allowed to discuss issues with others. If you have to go here then Id recommend Distance learning, it is a much better option but not very well composed as a lot of time on Zoom is wasted. I'm disgusted that I wasted my time at this school and I wish that any person that reads this heeds the warning. This horrible school created more issues in my life than I have ever had. I discourage anyone from considering this for their children if they don't want to lose them to suicide. Fortunately for me, with the help of loved ones I have managed to move on and am now happy and make more money than the teachers.

I think Swan Christian College is alright but i think they should add few things to the college like security cameras especially around the media class room, students should know about what's going on if they are going home or if it's an emergency. Swan Christian College should lower their prices for the school fees and the stuff the parents buy for their children. I think we should have fans or air freshener in the bathrooms.

Good school, good staff and well made quesadillas which should be served to students more frequently in the cafeteria (ie concession ticket (smart) rider)

My two son's have been attending this college since Kindy.
My wife Sharyn, and I have nothing but praise for the Leadership team
and beautiful teaching staff that are totally committed to the education,
support and welfare of our boys. We are amazed at the continued love
throughout the school and the newly created community outreach programme.

Have been a parent of children attending Swan since 2005. Have seen many changes through the years, however, they have always been open and respectful with communication when issues arise. Journeyed with Junior, Middle, Senior and Trade Centre - encountered terrific teachers all the way through. Teachers genuinely care for their students and give 100%. Looking forward to our final year in 2021!

Highly recommended. Swan provides a focused education embedded with intelligent learning to allow our young people to thrive in this world. The curriculum has a combination of great teaching and meaningful life application. If you want your children and your grandchildren to live in a world founded on a system that values life, respects life and serves for life then look no further than Swan Christian College. It provides a learning pathway that will create innovative and purposeful individuals that will have every opportunity of succeeding in life if they apply themselves. With great facilities and location this is the place to formulate and instil those abilities and habits that you so dearly want to see replicated in your children. Take the time to consider this learning institution. It may be one of the best decisions you have ever made.

Fees too expensive, rough netball players, bad area, drug problems, expensive clothes that change all the time, and just a big no no

The college lacks cultural diversity. I would like to see a partnership with Transperth to improve the overall experience at Swan Christian College.
