Surge Fitness Clarkson

Nice gym overall. So disappointed when I wanted to just “SHOW” a friend the inside of the gym and was refused even just a “peak”without paying a $20 fee or going through the introduction process when it would of taken 2 mins for a walk around. Was just pathetic and money hungry gym. Not once was I rude was just asking the right questions but it’s clear the staff don’t really know what there doing and confused on what I was asking. I didn’t ask to train her. I wanted to SHOW THE GYM.
It’s just a shame I can’t even walk my friend through trying to bring you new customers.

You can’t throw prices in peoples face to join a gym if they haven’t even had a look inside especially if I’m a frequent customer and pay.

I had a few issues with transferring from one club to another and Kevin the club manager at Clarkson was amazing. He was extremely helpful and professional and sorted everything out straight away. Great customer service!

I just joined this gym and looks great so far. Plenty of space and like the app as it tells you how busy it is.

Lots of pinloaded machines but limited free floor space. Bathrooms look great with showers and a sauna.

There is also a women only part if needed.

Great gym, friendly staff who know you by name, and even put my financial needs first when I needed to pull out

What makes Surge Fitness awesome:

Surge Clarkson has clean facilities with lots of equipment, super friendly and helpful staff, great sense of community between the members and all the personal trainers. I highly recommend the gym to anyone.

Just had their change rooms renovated and they are unreal. Massive floor with plenty of machine and benches.

Depending on if you go during peak hours then it's a little busier but other then that you never really have to wait for a machine or bench, been my local for years.

Surge Fitness Clarkson has poor customer service, they failed to tell me about a missing payment which led to an unpaid fee that I had no idea about. They also failed to tell me about the 30 day cancellation policy when I signed up, when I went in to cancel my membership all they did was get me to fill out a few details, they told me it would be processed n a few days and I received no email letting me know that my membership was cancelled, I then called and enquired and found out they hadn't even put it through on their system. I called to pay my overdue fee which don't even know why because payment had been taken out for those weeks, I was trying to ask the receptionist questions but she kept trying to hang up on me.

The staff is friendly and the patrons are super awesome, too. The facilities are clean, and the PT's are super friendly

One of the larger, well maintained and clean gyms NoR. Now they have another gym in Jindalee that is much bigger.

Half way through a set or workout and sleezes onto women in the gym regularly, has zero people skills and does not set a good example for his pts, never cleans, puts away weights, and when u report equipment is faulty it falls on deaf ears, during my time there he constantly went out of his way to harass me, overall his behaviour is discusting, don’t know how the upper management turn a blind eye to it.

Love it. Always clean, heaps of options and the creche ladies are amazing! Love the woman's only area to!

Staff very helpful. Great prices and value. The gym has everything you need to lose weight, gain muscle, work on fitness and a special private area for females to workout. The sauna, toilet, showers and lockers are very clean and hand sanitizers and sprays are conveniently placed area the whole gym.

I have been coming to the gym for the last 5 months and I love it. I enjoy all the classes especially Body Combat and Body Pump. Thanks Surge Clarkson for making it a great place to train.

A gym that has all the equipment you need for any fitness goal! If you are aiming to just improve your health, lose some kilos or get strong, this gym will get the job done.

Full of knowledgeable personal trainers and polite and respectful staff, this is a place you can feel safe and confident in, knowing you will always be cared for:)

Great trainers, amazing group fitness classes and an easy going atmosphere. Feel really comfortable and have meet some really great new friends. Easy access and plenty of privacy. Thank you!

The variety of classes provides constant engagement and motivates you towards your goals, thus eliminating staleness that often happens with training. The coaches are tremendous- always creating a fun and engaging atmosphere in the group classes which pushes you beyond your limits. It’s a great way to start and end your day and smash out your goals. Thanks surge family!

I put three stars because as a member, i think surge could use with some new equipment. It’s not great working out with resources that aren’t working nor slightly ruined, otherwise really do love the gym

Since moving to Australia in 2013 i have tryed 4 different gyms and surge has been my favorite, they have excellent customer service, best group classes, amazing cycle classes‍️awesume instructors even the cleaning guy is so fricken nice and friendly i would recommend them in a heart beat️so thank you surge clarkson and to the gurls at reception that always give 100% customer service thank yous
