Our visit to Supercheap Auto Balcatta was a breeze. We purchased radios for our trip, and the checkout lady was lovely. It's always great when a friendly face brightens your shopping experience.

Not very well stocked.
I always have to order in common items.
E.g spark plugs.
Customer service not very good
Especially on the phone.
Staff is helpful, and the store is well setout. Easy to find what you need. Being a member I also get to save on purchases.
All up took 20minutes to get all gear required for a service on my vehicle from computer to front desk superb
Over priced and over rated. Gross incompetence with wrong information and waste of my time. One year on, and nothing's changed. The their warranty is not worth the papers it written on. The sales assistant, straight out of primary school. The whole place is a joke. Forget about Supercheap, supertramp more like it.

Good counter service. They found and kept to collect an item which was only at a couple of stores. Good range of products and excellent prices.
Terrible service. Placed an order with name and contact taken, said will definitely contact me as soon as good arrived. Called them after almost two weeks no hear from them, I was told they didn't and couldn't reserve the item for me!

Sadly of the 4 times I've been here, I was sold the wrong thing every time. First of all ordered speaker brackets for 6x9 and was given 6.5. Waited another two weeks and the wrong ones came in again.
The next time I wanted a T10 wedge globe and was given the wrong globe.
Today I asked for a sparkplug (that I had checked availability for on the website) only to be told by the staff they didn't have it. The alternative I was sold had completely the wrong thread, only to discover yes, yes they had the one I had asked for originally.
On the plus side, they sorted out the issue each time with refunds or exchanges, but the big issue here is I've been in on 4 occassions - having done my research and asked for a specific part only to be sold the wrong thing.
Of the most recent with the spark plug, the staff didn't bother to do a stock check of the part I requested and didn't bother to compare the specs of the plug I needed with the one they recommended.
My complaint in store was shrugged off as they tried to justify why they didn't bother checking their stock levels and the fact I was sold the complete wrong item wasnt even addressed.
Even when you know what you want, they will still sell you the wrong thing.
My favorite Auto shop. Just helped replace my wipers, picked up some reduced car seat covers. I like the service I get there.
Excellent service provided. Went in to get my halogen lights replaced and the friendly person who helped me fit the lamps not only did it absolutely professionally, but even helped me retrieve the cover I had dropped accidentally onto the bottom of the bonnet. I had previously given up hopes of getting it back again but he took it on himself to do so even though it wasn't his job and it wasn't an easy task. That's what I call service and beyond. Thank you so much.
It could have more appropriate opening and closing hours! If it was open in the mornings ppl can get thier car troubles fixed in a jiffy rather than having to wait half a day and be late to work.
I said to the guy my brake light and right indicator have both gone at the same time so it's probably not the bulbs which are the problem. He said it has to be so put in new bulbs. $25. Very happy great price except they immediately blew again. $25 wasted. Better to go to the experts.
The bloke there with the big orange beard (not sure his name) is an absolute top bloke always serves me when I walk in gives me good advice definitely knows his stuff would 100% recommend him to any one that needs 4x4 gear or advice
Didn't have the part I wanted but were able to tell me where to get it at a different retailer. Well done, excellent service.
The Bunnings of the car market. Has everything the average person needs and great staff to help those of us who are novices
They were OK until they weren't busy.
This Easter I bought bunches of items total over $1100 on 1st of April online. When I got " ready to pick up" message from Balcatta store, it wasn't ready to pick my items so two staff looked for the items over 10 minutes and one of items was wrong I found out (Ryco Syntec Oil Filter) so one of lady staff swapped it.
Actually I have plaster cast my left arm but nobody asked to helping me because one of item was very heavy weight. (Electric Winch)
when I got home, I found out another item was damaged. (SCA steering wheel cover $20.99) I went back to the shop again next day and asked for refund but they refused it because it was damaged. I told them I didn't do it. It might already got damaged when I picked up. They didn't believe me. I questioned the lady, Did you check the item when you preparing? She said, another staff handed into her so she didn't check it. I asked her again please find the person then ask the item? She said, I don't know who was, anyway the item got damaged so we can't refund please leave now. I didn't understand why the store was trying to blame the customer. Also I explained both of my arms got injured so I didn't have the strength to break the item. Store manager was smiling and you can break with one arm.
The problem was they didn't listen what customer said and talking about only what they thought. I was thinking if they checked the item before handed it I could just leave.
I talked approximately 5 minutes about the issue and she (manager) asked me to leave serveral times and if swap to new one can you leave? So I accepted her offer but I really regret now I shouldn't get it.
I am going to return the new item by post and your guys no need to refund my money. You win!
They destroyed my Easter holiday.
