Supa IGA Roleystone

I've waited a while before doing this review, to give the new owners a chance to settle in, and also to be fair. I believe it has been about a year and a half now.

All I can say is I'm disappointed. The products are substandard and past their best (I'm talking about fruit and veg) and on top of that over priced like most things there. I wouldn't mind the prices if it was a premium quality store, but it just isn't.

There are less staff than before and waiting times have increased. Shopping trolleys are not collected. It used to be about the customers which doesn't seem to be the case now.

I believe the owners have multiple stores which in my opinion shouldn't be allowed if they are meant to be independent and about the local community, as they become just like the big stores (which cost a lot less)

Guess you don't know how good something is till you lose it, the old IGA was amazing. We now only get the incidentals there. Spuddie all the way for us.

Kinda hit and miss with most of the floor staff, the friendliness tends to depend on their mood.
They have allot of regular items and some more up market things. Plenty pre packed items made in store like awesome platters, ready to cook meals and decent fruit n veggies. Because of their high prices, I only shop there for cheap bread and milk and do the bulk of shopping elsewhere.

The food is not so delightful, the lasnage rasts like thin pastry with the sauce tasting like jelly.

Good honest family business, has now been sold with the new owner keeping the standard, excellent experience. Still a very well stocked store, congratulations to all the staff.

They get 5 stars for their chicken parmigiana alone but all round this is an excellent little store. No nonsense. All the essentials and lots of locally sourced produce at affordable prices.

Can't recommend this place highly enough as a it has everything at fair to equal to discount prices.

The only item I ever buy is IGA's Cooked Chook. Otherwise, forget shopping here, absolutely ridiculous prices, way too expensive!

Very friendly staff, locally owned and wow.the food is so well presented and so fresh! One of the nicest IGAs I’ve every visited.

to have them their, saves a drive down the hill when you have it on you're door step.

Great shop if you want to pay the money. Roughly twice cost for food. Lived there a very long time and have not been able to afford the prices for a couple of yrs. Fruit and veg worth a visit as fresh.

Good range, good quality fruit and Veg, but price on many items is vastly more expensive, given little to no local competition

I've lost count now of the number of times I've bought something selling at a discounted price, only to discover later at the checkout, that they're charging the original, non-discounted price. Oh, It happened again yesterday, never going back, this isn't a coincidence, it happens ALL THE TIME.

Absolutely brilliant what has been done with the store absolute gem for the bon vivaunt and gourmet.

Terrible customer service at Roleystone IGA today. The express checkout operator with red hair was rude towards myself and my son. Maybe train your staff to be respectful and polite IGA.

Beautiful! Clean, local, with a mix of services! Bakery, butter, dairy; as well as lots of isles full of well presented stock. Staff are friendly and helpful, and full of the 'local shops' vibe

Great store, good range of products and specialities not available at other retailers. Country town feel on the edge of the metro area.
