SUPA IGA reviews
36 The meat & cheese selection here is nothing short of phenomenal, high quality and reasonably priced. We're on holidays coming down from Perth and this selections on par with some of the best gourmet cheese shops. They even have Live Local Albany Oysters, so bring a shucking tool on ur holiday.
Only suggestion, they should sell shucking knives in the IGA, i would have bought a bunch of oyster's & a knife
Partial copy of previous review. New ownership and my favourite billabong nuts have gone along with other unique gourmet items These have been replaced with Easter eggs. Managers specials like Capel butter and Albany eggs have also gone. Unlikely to return and I'll be telling my friends. Big loss for Albany, sadly.
Took clearly off meat back still in date, told that I hadn’t stored it correctly. No refund and not even replacement offered.
Talking to others their meat is apparently always like this and they print labels over off stuff all the time.
This is our local supermarket with heaps of specials and very friendly staff. We enjoy shopping here.
The supermarket has a variety of interesting foods but unfortunately is located in a low socio-economic area. On visits here with my 80yr old mother we have either been screamed at by a shop thieving lunatic at the front counter wanting to eat for free then walk away, witnessed theft or been accosted by those who who never seem to have a job and just lounge around outside. The carpark surface is in bad need of re-surfacing as its a tripping hazzard for the elderly.
Bought 3 packs of meat from here, when opened 2 both were off so took them back and got a refund. Opened the third packet a week later and it too was off. All were within date and had been refrigerated. When we took the third packet back for a refund we were basically called liars by the butcher and told it must have been left out of the fridge. Got a refund but was told that we won't get a refund for anything else again. Won't be shopping here again
Just an awsome IGA has so much variety and delicious fresh bread cakes and salads awsome deli bar
Such a great shopping centre, well laid out, friendly helpful staff and great variety. Love all the local produce
Awesome IGA. Great range of stuff, brilliant little bakery section. We were there every couple of days during our holiday
Didn't have the specific veggie I was chasing but I had never been to that store and didn't ask for assistance- was in a hurry.
They didn't have any jumbo grain toast loaf 800g at 730am on Saturday morning. Asked the people working at the bakery if they had any just out of oven.
They gave me a loaf, which was very cold to touch. I suspect it was frozen and defrosted and that's what they were getting ready to put on the shelf as fresh. The day before was closed due to publicj holiday, Good Friday, so I suspect it was cooked Thursday and frozen, prior to the holiday Friday, and taken out on the Saturday morning for defrosting.
It felt like it was just out of freezer, even when I got home, it was still cold.
At that point I was certain they gave me a frozen loaf, charged me for a fresh, $2.99
I've alwaysa had bread from the instore bakery and it's my preferred bakery, but today was a disappointment.
Do better Supa IGA.
Great store for all of your food and other basic needs with plenty of specials to save you those all important dollars
I've been shopping at North Road IGA for 3 years now and the amount of times I've just been in town at Coles and been annoyed at the high price of Fruit and Veg at Coles and thought nope not paying that, I guess I get used to the lower prices at North Road IGA, and just today I was in Coles, and could not believe it, tomatoes at $7.99/kg but they are always $2.99 at IGA plus how much of the fruit and veg at Coles was missing stock. Well pleased with IGA.
Great location its right in the heart of the town good place to park your car and go shopping and lots of shops to see and a coffee shop in side a garage next to shop and wheel chairs friendly
Good choice of fresh fruit and vegetables. Great 'Deli' section. Courteous and professional staff. Efficient staff.
Seafood section could have improved. Somehow, variety of different products and produces can be found.
Great staff, helpful, good pricing but can get busy and because of that processing can take a while
Ask for 6 slices short cut bacon lady serving went to back bench and tried to serve me some rather unsavoury looking bacon i told her i want the good bacon not happy with her actions
Has a great meats, cheeses and gourmet/International foods section on right side as you walk in. I go there for that. The rest of the store is typical of a decent IGA.
Really busy on a Sunday morning. Great range. Thank you for having all tills open your costumers appreciate it!
