The food is very good. They have only a few tables. Their big business is take out.
Excellent value.

I hate leaving an average review but the food was just okay. There was no chilli in the larb salad, nor the red curry. I did however like the variety of vegetables in the curry, that was great. They also offer Gluten Free options which is so helpful. If you like a more westernised Thai meal this is perfect for you, if you like places like S&T Thai or long chim, this place isn’t for you.

Unfortunately this is my last time ordering here. Food quality has gone down hill last 3 times. Ordered Penang chicken curry tonight. Sauce was very runny, not thick and creamy like it used to be and very bland. Shredded chicken had no taste. Food here was the best I had tasted when it opened, unfortunately the quality and quantity is no longer there. Lovely family that own the place, I hope they can pick back up to where it was.

To say Sunny Thai's food and service is comparable to that of a 5-star restaurant would be misleading. At no restaurant of any standing have I ever witnessed the level of unpretentious attention, care, and excellence that seems to radiate from every aspect of the culinary experience offered by this humble little takeaway restaurant.
My wife and I have ordered five meals now, every order maintaining an equally consistent, high-quality standard, almost disproportionate to the very reasonable pricing. The emphatic devotion to quality and consistency is apparent even from merely handling the packaging. Each delivery has arrived clean, well-sealed, and stacked efficiently, the restaurant's cheekily smiling solar icon adhered just below a set of hearty, bag-sealing staples.
Our orders comprised of a selection of the various entrees and curries on offer, as well as several chicken and seafood dishes. The worst of these victuals could only be described as "remarkable", the greatest "a revelation". For my own experience the massaman curry was especially exquisite. By comparison all previous massamans now seem like cheap imitations.
Suffice to say, my wife and I will be ordering from Sunny Thai many times in the future. Not simply because it is affordable, not solely because we are "in the mood for Thai food", but because this is an experience worth repeating.

Sunny is my go to when it comes to take away! I’ve only ever been met with the best service, and the best food! The Thai Green Curry with a side of coconut rice is just superb. Thanks for always looking after me guys! <3

My family & I had a wonderful dine-in dinner experience last Friday. The food & taste of Thai flavor were cooked to perfection. The overall service provided was excellent. Highly recommended

This is my go-to Thai restaurant. Their pad thai is insanely good! Also the chicken wings are amazing! Great value!

I made a specific request asking not to put chilli in my food as I am very allergic to any type of pepper. I feel very sick, my throat swells and it is very dangerous.

As you can see in the photo, I received the food with chilli, even though they wrote they didn't put it. If it was just on top to garnish that would be fine, but I found a lot more inside of the food. I tasted a little bit of the sauce and it was very spicy so I didn't eat anything and I had to throw it all away in the bin.

The rest of my order was ok. Just be careful with customer requests next time. Thank you.

Got delivery from here and it was amazing! Larb, Papaya Salad and Pineapple Fried rice - all delicious!

Just had the most positive experience with this place! When placing the order, they warned us they were busy and our order might take a while, however it turned up at the doorstep in 20 minutes!

The food was amazing and tasted fresh and delicious!

Then we realised that one of dishes we ordered with one less ingredient, but it wasn't removed. However, a few minutes later, there was a knock at the door, and the delivery driver was back profusely apologising for the mistake (we hadn't told them) and a freshly cooked dish there in his hands - we were happy to just eat the dish and pick out the extra ingredient, however an experience like this just tops off an excellent meal.

Had the ginger beef, chicken cashew. Spot on! Nice flavors and fresh food but we ordered 2 chicken satay and honestly it was some of the worst I ever had. Must be a bad day or something, chicken was soo dry like it was cooked yesterday, the satay was runny to my taste and a lack of flavour. Iam confused cause our 2 mains dishes was soo good next to the satay skewers, ill try another time still.

Your trusty local Thai. This place has so much to offer. Located across from the Mighty Quinn and next to the popular Local Bird, Sunny Thai is a hidden gem. The food here is delicious, SO fresh and the staff are super friendly. I highly recommend the pineapple fried rice, roast pork and kailan, pineapple fried rice and curry puffs. It is very reasonably priced.

Sunee will happily make adjustments to the menu to cater for your needs and wants. You can even call up and they can arrange delivery, rather than paying Ubereats. Support local.

Whilst only small, you can book for a large group (12 people) BYO and even get a cake from next door arranged (Rubys Pattisserie). Give it a go, i promise you will thank me later.

Best tasting Pad Thai in Perth with excellent service and very affordable. Have only ordered online through uber and menulog so far but have done so 3 times in the past two weeks! Hasn't disappointed yet. They did forget a drink one time but was an easy enough call to sort out. Will have to go in one day.
