Best decision I made while in Fremantle was switching to Sundancer hostel. Had a great time and the staff were amazing.

Good location, very comfy and cosy hostel. The staff is very helpful and nice. You feel like at home and the prices are really fair:)

Good location in one of the main streets of Fremantle, very friendly staff and a good place to meet other backpackers. I recommend this hostel.

Good atmosphere, the people at the reception are very friendly, the place is nice, spacious, comfortable and cozy, the rooms are too. Of course I will always choose this place. I highly recommend it

This is the absolute best place to stay in Fremantle. Everyone is so friendly and it feels like home

Other seem to love this place but I really didn’t enjoy it. It’s so dirty compared to other places I have stayed. There were massive clumps of hair in the showers for over 2 days. The floor in the bathroom is always dirty and the rooms don’t appear to ever have been cleaned. There is so much dirt and dust everywhere.

My food got taken from the kitchen twice (in just two days!), reception claimed someone must have just moved it but I checked all the fridges and couldn’t find any of my belongings (which were labelled). One of my bags of food was only in the fridge 17 minutes whilst I popped out to get more!
Loud music and voices until 2/3am and then people being loud getting up for work at 6am.

The sofas and chairs in the common areas used to be red but are covered in what must be years of grime.

The sanitary bins in the girls bathroom were overflowing.

I get it’s a hostel and I’ve stayed in some run down places before but this place was just dirty.

I booked for 2 weeks and left after 2 days.

The only saving grace was it’s location.

Easily the best hostel in Fremantle! Great atmosphere, plenty of space and two very loveable cats!

I had booked a reservation online for a week on behalf of my mother only to get there and be turned down by the staff member at the bar saying and I quote "she's too old to stay here" since when was age a requirement for accommodation? The man was giving creepy vibes too. Beware spending your money with this uncaring establishment.

Stayed in a few hostels in Fremantle but after coming to sundancer wouldn’t stay anywhere else! The pool is amazing in summer, such a lovely vibe in the kitchen with people making group meals and plenty of places to chill out/ play pool/ work if you need. Staff are always really welcoming/ helpful, theres lots of cool art (not to mention 2 cute cats!) this place has the best of everything

Great hostel! Very friendly staff which is always looking to help you out and the place felt like home within days.

It is a nice and clean hostel with a lot of space to sit in and outsite.
The facilitys are okay.

This is definitely the 5 stars hostel in Whole Australia! It was a pleasure to stay there. I was expecting only a few days before to quit wa, but this wonderful place got me and I stay much more than planned. The mood and the people are peaceful and fun. The staffs is so nice and available. The building is clean and spacious and there is so much activities to do. Thank you so much for this time, it saved my experience in Fremantle haha! Friendly staffs, comfy beds, awesome chill vibe. Free Pool table was plus. Definitely would stay there again.

I lived in all the hostels in Fremantle. Sundancer is the best one for sure! Friendly staff, confortable beds, hot water and big kitchen.
I would come back no doubts:)

Yeah it's a good place, staff are cool, swimming pool dip to wake you up in the morning and location is sound

My stay was great! I spent almost 6 months here and I had really good times.

Location is fantastic! The building to my eyes is a piece of history, beautiful and artistic murales! The hang out space is massive and there are a lot of activities, pool, fuss ball, table tennis and a swimming pool! My room was very tidy but I am guessing it depends on the guests!
I’ve got to know the new staff and they are really trying to turn this place around! I was here a few years ago and then it was so different! This time I didn’t want to leave! Thank you guys! I will be back!

Great hostel, super job done by Manuel and Oliver. Charming building with lots of character, will definitely be coming back!
