Relaxing quiet flat site that was perfect for tenting. The river is fast flowing & perfect for observing nature. The toilets were filthy but we were self sufficient so it was irrelevant.

Excellent Campground. No camp kitchen.toilet blocks. Easter weekend was very busy. When we arrived Thursday avo there were only 3 sites left. Close to the river. Great walk along the river both ways.
Other campers with shouting children and noisy beer circles. A couple of camp fires despite the fire ban signs.
Camp away from kids & loud groups or don't go on public holidays.

This a great little spot to get on the river. Plenty of shady trees, lots of space and clear clean water. There were not very many people so it was a short paddle to feel completely isolated.
Negatives, it is a bit of a hike down to the water on a hot day, especially if you have kids and all their stuff. There is only a ling drop toilet and no drinking water.
Our kids loved playing in the water, and it was nice to paddle a km or so between the rapids. It is a bush picnic spot so don’t expect lawns and gardens, but it is true blue experience of the Aussie bush.

Beautiful camp ground in the middle of nowhere basically. Peaceful and very tranquil. Camp kitchen available and also drop toilets.

Excellent camp site, highly recommended staying here!

Clean drop toilets and a few to choose from, all camp bays were plenty big enough with more than half big enough for a van or camper trailer.

There was a huge wood pile at the entrance and all the sites had fire rings with most having hot plates for cooking as well.

The sues bridge day use area by the water is the perfect spot for a hike or just for a refreshing swim. The water is crystal clear with easy access, plenty of river for a lengthy kayak or SUP boarding.

Dogs are allowed at this site and fees are around $11 an adult per night. Well worth the money, with Augusta only 37kms down the road it was a short trip to enjoy the town for a day.

Happy to report we didnt encounter any big foots or yowie's.

Definitely worth a visit.

Sue’s Bridge was easy access for Car or Van.
Secluded in that there was no mobile or wifi reception. No camps are directly on the water but are very close. Long drop Toilet. 5 places for Caravans, 3 places for Camper Trailers, 15 places for tents with one site (number 13) set out for a group of tents together. A camp kitchen with 2 bbqs - one at a lower height to accommodate wheelchairs. A space for disabled camping that was surrounded by paved areas and directly opposite the camp kitchen. A shared day use area right next to the water. Very peaceful. Lots of birds.

Got here straight after a huge storm. Place was still in good shape. Ranger was very helpful and told us the best place to launch a kayak. $11 an night per adult which is the norm. Drop toilets were clean and heaps of fire wood (although it was wet) and fire rings could be bigger. 26 spots. I think we had number 14 and can recommend. Left on the Saturday of a long weekend because of the space. On the Friday the whole park filled up, but till then we had the entire place to our self. I will never understand people that head into the bush to see how high their stereos will go.that withstanding 4.5 stars

Absolutely stunning campground near the Blackwood River with large camping areas. And if you're lucky enough, you'll have some visitors or roaming around in darkness.

Enjoyed our night in this camp. Picnic table and seats on each site. Along with a brazier. $7 a night each person. Toilets there. My Barbie enjoyed the pretty little orchids that were everywhere.

Great spot near River. Camp kitchen is lovely, maybe fix the 2nd bbq, seems it's been out of order for awhile. Really nice ranger who made us feel very welcome.

Great camp grounds, sites are spaced at with privacy. Not busy on week days. There is a firewood pile you can use when burning is permitted. There is a basic camp kitchen and long drop toilet. The whole camp site is clean and well maintained/looked after.

We visited on week days. Very few campers.maybe 5 of the 25 plots occupied. The river was flowing well do the paddling was good, even upstream for a couple of kilometres. The level dropped about 300mm overnight but the flow was much the same. From previous visits it needs to be quite a lot lower, or one needs to be very fit, to be able to make any long return paddling trips.
