Strike Training and Consulting

I'm writing this for my partner who just completed the Cert 2 in Security Ops. These are his comments: very informative and thorough course with highly experienced instructors in all fields of this course. They keep it very real in all facets of work in this industry. Well organised practicals and detailed theory. Approachable and helpful staff.

After having pretty hard and negative experiences in Australia with work, adjusting with the new environment and people, I had become a quiet and low self-esteem person, but as per one of my friend recommended me about this training centre that he thought I can give it a go to learn something new and improve myself- AND HE WAS SO RIGHT!
Strike Traininng has been nothing but one of the biggest learning experience for me. Not only to be ready to work in security industry- also you can figure out how to be upfront, confident and wise in front of people in general life.
Greg is an absolute magician who will try beyond his limit to bring out the best of yourself, Iam forever thankful to him for his assistance, his humour, his motivational and practical words to learn from the mistakes and be confident. He will make you go to his class everyday and enjoy every bit of it. Some of the words that he said about human beings and the present world, I'll never forget. It was so inspiring. He teaches you more like a guide and friend than a teacher. He is THE BEST TRAINER EVER.
All other staff and trainer Steven, Jaye, Gavin and everyone over there super friendly, professional and helpful.
I went there everyday for 12 days and I couldn't believe how much I was enjoying going to classes and didn't think about giving one day break. It went so quick, I thought 12 days was less. I wouldn't miss any opportunity to do another course in future at Strike and highly recommend to those people also who have lack of confidence issue like me.
After I finished the course, I realised how much more open, positive and confident I am outside my home- in the street, shops, public transport, everywhere!
Now I can't wait to get my license, new job and utilise the valuable knowledge and lesson that I received from Greg, Steven and Strike Training!

I have 3 classes to go for my Cert II in security ops and I've enjoyed every single class so far. The staff are very friendly and professional. They're definitely the best in the field. I've learned so much and I think the Quality of teaching is definitely top notch. Kinda sad thinking that I'm finishing soon because the classes were so much fun and interesting, but I'm looking forward to apply my knowledge once I get a job in the industry. Thank you Strike team for such a great training experience!

I completed the Provide First Aid Course HLTAID011 through Strike Training and Consulting. The process was extremely easy and communication from the trainers was great. I knew what was expected and required throughout the course at all times.
There was an online component which I managed to complete over 2 days. I could exit the course when needed and return to it when I could without loosing my completed sections. The the short quiz at the end of each of the Course Reading modules helped to ensure I had understood and retained the reading. It was an enjoyable way to learn and broke up the reading in a way that I did not feel overwhelmed. Once the online component was completed I was able to attend a practical to see what I had learnt put to use and for a hands on experience.
The practical part of the course was fabulous. Gavin Wicks instructed us and took us through the course content. Our group consisted of people of all ages and walks of life and we all found the course content easy to follow. We were able to have any questions we had answered and get first hand experience of many parts of first aid such as CPR, bandaging, splinting, running through scenarios and what we should do. Gavin has a wealth knowledge through his work and life experiences and made the course informative, enjoyable and fun while keeping it professional at all times. I would highly recommend Strike Training and Consulting for anyone looking to do the HLTAID011 Provide First Aid Course and any of the other courses they provide.

I would highly recommend anyone who wants to become a security guard to choose strike training, they are very professional and the entire staff were very helpful. Thank you very much to everyone from strike training.

The flexible learning they offer for the Certificate II in Security is very good because we all have life commitments and this helps work around them. You can get the monthly schedule from Strike and go the days you can. I initially was doing it every day but due to my brother having been diagnosed with brain cancer over in Brisbane I had to fly over there. With the time away and my time in quarantine this was over a month. Yet i was able to find the units I have not done and go on the day to finish it.

The Office Ladies Jay and Sue were great, very accommodating with requests and updating us with regards to what we required.

I didnt have much interaction with Gavin as he was teaching a different course, however the interactions I did have he was very friendly.

Steven was good teacher. He thinks outside the box in practical demonstrations. He discussed his time in the Army and as a volunteer fire-fighter

My main teacher was Greg. He always makes you laugh. He has a great sense of humour and is stern where the situation warrants it to make sure you understand the importance of the situation.

Rather than just read from a book Greg reflects on the positives and negatives he has encountered in Security. He reflects on incidents that he has done wrong in the past as a Security Officer to ensure we don't do the same. He reflected on his time as a Crowd Controller and how to monitor crowds and crowd behaviour and how to prevent incidents before they happen.

Jay assisted Greg in showing us how to physically remove patrons who are non compliant from a venue ensuring the safety of the crowd controller and the patron.

My partner will likely do the course with Strike sometime in the future aswell

Steve was the best trainer explained in clear way. Sue was very friendly. Recommended to do training at Strike Belmont.

Really bad experience not good at all rude staff members not cooperative at all and if you still want to pay them a visit disregarding all of this just keep in mind if you have done any previous certificate from any other training centre and you told them about it then brother and sisters they are just not going to pass you or give you the certificate thats the disclaimer for every future client of strike.
Actually you’re mixing me with someone else my name is (Muhammad Talha Jamal) and paid $75 for the white card and I have the proof of emails that I received from you guys relating to my white card so that means I have experienced your training and I have the right to share my opinion.

Everyone at this training centre is extremely professional and helpful I had a really positive experience and learnt so much from everyone there.
Worst part was when the course ended

Last year I signed up with strike to complete the Certificate III in Investigative Services.
The course content is extremely well done. All staff are amazing. Would highly recommend any of their courses.
I had the absolute pleasure of having Gaven Wicks as my trainer and I believe I got the best training possible in Australia.

Worth the time and money couldnt feel more prepared to work in the industry after going through strike for training

All I can say about Strike Training is wow! I had never had any involvement in the Security Industry and was told I had to do the Cert II in Security Operations course for a job I’d been offered, and I am honestly so glad I did it through Strike. Everything about them shows that they really care about their students, are so engaged in the industry, and like to ensure their students are successful. This is an absolutely incredible training centre. Special thank you to Rob, Jaye, Greg and Sue for all your help in getting me ready to start my career in security, you guys are so amazing at what you do and I really can’t thank you enough! When I decide to further my qualifications in security, I will definitely be going back to Strike.

Best Security training centre out in Perth. With top quality instructors. Especially Rob, Greg and the manager Jayde. And the rest of the team. Doing amazing job. Would recommend to anyone want to do security course do it from Strike training.

Came back to renew my Cert 2 in security after it lapsed. The staff & instructors are great, helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend this school to anyone who wants to step into the security industry. They're legit and worth the time/money.

The trainers and staff at Strike are amazing. They are knowledgeable, supportive and extremely helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to get into the security industry.

Highly experienced and professional staff, very thorough training. Even though I had done cert II back in 2005 with another less professional training company, I was required to do the full cert II to get my licence again and I'm glad I did it with Strike Training, I got a lot out of the course and I'm now we'll prepared for the security industry.
