Just had fish n chips from this place. It was very disappointing. The batter on the fish was very oily had a weak strange taste, the oil appeared yellow, thick and gooey! Tasted a bit stale. It stained the paper and serviettes yellow. We are worried what kind of oil we have eaten, hope it doesn't cause health problem. The fish was supposed to be snapper was not fresh. We will not go back again.

Tried this place for the first time tonight. Food I was very happy with can't fault it. Only complaint is the place is cash only no eftpos crazy

Used to be my favourite FnC shop until last week when the FnC for two had enough chips for one. Just as well I ordered a separate wrap of $2 chips for the next day because that too was piddling and consumed on the same night by the 2 persons. Fair dinkum you've raised your prices AND cutting back on quantity? I get times are tough (for us all mate) but last time I checked spuds were still cheap, not to mention the bulk rates you buy at.

What's with the 'cash only' policy? I'm guessing not all of the takings are on the books. Now looking for another FnC shop to replace you or look for alternate fast food representing better value for money.

OMG. We have been looking for a quality fish and chips place and this is now our go to. Quality batter and doesnt leave you with that heavy oily feeling afterwards.

First time experience as I live in Success and heard from a friend how good their fish & chips were. Well, was not disappointed. Best ever! Don't go anywhere else. Only gripe is they're not south of the river.

Consistenty in freshness, cooking for maximum delicious fish and chips. Delivering hot fish and chips from a crew who work to a very good standard.

Absolutely hands down one of the best fish and chips shop we have had for a long time.

We tried fish and chips from here in March 2020 and we couldn't fault them. I was totally amazed that chips could be so crisp, fresh, soft in the middle and, did I say crisp? I was telling everyone that I don't remember tasting such delicious chips. We bought twice more but then COVID-19 hit and the shop closed.

Yesterday we went again and I don't know what's happened but once again the chips were just meh OK. Nothing special, not crisp, a little rubbery and horrible as they cooled down.
What has changed? Please return to whatever you were doing right before the lockdown.
Maybe you cannot get the same products now. If so, that's really sad because I had never tasted such delicious chips as those in March.

We now wish to revisit this review and give them 5 stars once again.
The chips are once again really awesome; crisp, soft and delicious. The batter also is crisp and crunchy. Very fresh!
But the really stand out taste were the onion rings! These we will also order again.

Ordered a grilled red emperor and a Dhu fish. Both tasted and looked the same. Terrible. If that fish was red emperor or Dhu fish, I’ll walk to China.

Good food but I have only ordered one or twice because most of the time IGA is closed and you don't have eftpos so 9 times out of ten I go somewhere else that does have eftpos even if it isn't fish and chips. Get with the times and get eftpos otherwise people like myself will go elsewhere

Order 4 pieces of Red Emperor and it was disgusting, tasted like cardboard.
I contacted them only for them to tell me that they had used frozen Red Emperor, they offered to replace it or a refund but by then we had lost our appetite, very disappointing when you spend $80 on fish and chips and also only take cash!

THE BEST fish and chips anywhere. Crispy as. Fish cooked perfectly.each time it's consists.highly recommend.

Havent been disappointed yet and have been here many times. Chips are very tastey and the batter is nice on the fish. Being cash only is the only negative but its not hard to keep some notes on me during the week incase of emergency dinner.
