The oysters weren’t fresh. My friend and I both loved the banana prawn crepe rolls! We also ordered the superfood salad and two lemoncello spritz. The cocktails were decent, but nothing fantastic.

I got a burger and a couple of beers. It was super tasty and the waitress was very pleasant and the vibes were nice

Terrible customer service. Restaurant was NOT busy, many empty tables. Long waits for food and meals all came out at varied times with no rhyme or reason to the orders. Food tasty but what I ordered was not hot. Small portions for large prices. The mushroom dish our friend ordered did not appear to have any mushrooms in it. Mistakes with both food and drinks brought out and waitstaff proceeded to argue that I needed to pay for an additional dish that was given to someone else by mistake despite us asking (twice) and being told it was all correct. It was not.
Very disappointed and would not recommend.

Service was excellent. Food was very good. Atmosphere was excellent except, as older people, we prefer softer music.

Fantastic atmosphere in the outdoor garden. Food was great and the small menu items are not so small at all.
The pork and beef San choy bau was excellent as was the banana prawn pancake.
Followed by the chocolate desert and a passion fruits crème brûlée, both good but on a hot day the passion fruit brûlée was the best choice.
Good wine list and very friendly service.
We have booked out next lunch here already.

Very large selection of wines. Good cocktails.
Honestly cannot fault the venue.
Being in Nedlands there were a fair few "rich" people with their noses in the air unfortunately.

One of the best chicken burgers in Perth; unique flavour. Good table service, average bar service. Good food menu with variety. Decent wine list, but missing South American wines.

Having waiting for more than 1 hour for food in a now so peak time for lunch is beyond any expectation. They argued that they serve for entree first which took 20mins and then they started cooking main, it’s impossible. Please be aware that this will take ONE hour when you come here

Went to Steves for the first time and had a great time. We loved it as the service was great, food creative, generous and tasty, and there was a extensive and reasonably. The crepe is a must and the oysters fresh and outstanding.
Big shout out to Michael, he was passionate about the food and wine.
The only downside was that it was a pretty quiet night and not given the best seat (near the toilet) - did not ask to move because thought there might have been other bookings, but not the case.

Had lunch yesterday with my wife and we had a terrible experience. The staff were uninterested in doing their job and appeared to enjoy talking to one another rather than serving customers. I had to ask for our two glasses of wine which were sitting on the bar to be brought to our table.
My wife's meal of gold band snapper ($48) was two small pieces of fish which was so overcooked it was dry and inedible. When I informed the staff member about this she shrugged her shoulders, said she was sorry and that she would inform the chef. I should have insisted that she remove the dish from the bill but didn't want to cause a fuss and instead said that I wouldn't be back. This was met with a blank stare.
The place is a very expensive joke.
Avoid if you value professional service.

Great place to sit and take photos of people through the window if you own the place I notice. Overpriced yuppie hang out. Staff are nice though.

I love the food and the service, they have good salads, specially Caesar. They also have many other options like pasta, meats, japonese cuisine. I recommend it.

Came here recently after many years to celebrate my mums birthday and it’s fair to say it was a total disappointment in every way. The venue itself is decent with nice indoor and outdoor spaces to choose from. On arriving they got mixed up about our booking for 12 people and said we only booked for 5 people. After a bit of back and forth they finally agreed the booking was for more people and begrudgingly joined some tables together for us. I asked for a high chair to which I was brought out the filthiest high chair I’ve had in a long time. We eat out a lot and even the dingiest of Chinese restaurants have had cleaner chairs. We were shocked to learn that for table service we needed to give a credit card. Again, we eat out a lot and it seems bizarre that they have such an issue with walkouts but that’s another story I guess. We waited upwards of 20 minutes to get both our drinks and food order in and that’s after having to call someone over to take our food order. The entree took 35 minutes to arrive. Once that was cleared we waited another 40 minutes and still no food. With 3 children and a baby getting increasingly upset, hungry and tired I went to check on our food (for the second time) and was rudely told by Teigan the manager that our mains were put on hold while the entrees came out on the specific request from our table. That never happened but ultimately… this place is just awful. The service is awful, the food average and the management of the place just nowhere near what‘a expected. They tried to blame us for the delay in food coming (almost 1hr 30 minutes from ordering to mains arriving) and honestly made our lunch so awful and stressful with small hungry children in the heat. We are always on the lookout for a new favourite place to eat but Steve’s is officially on the black list, won’t ever be coming back. Oh! And $17 for kids meals is an ABSOLUTE JOKE!

Never have we been to a restaurant with such poor service and highly over-priced meals. They have absolutely no idea what good service means. Poorly trained and unhappy staff, mixed up orders, long waiting times, dirty glasses - what else can create a bad impression of the place?
Sorry Steve’s; we’ll NOT BE BACK.
