Steve Mummery Celebrant

Steve is a super organised and experienced celebrant - this was clear to us from day one and also through the abundance of wedding planning tips he shared with us along our wedding planning journey. Steve officiated our ceremony on a 37 degree day and he was as cool as a cucumber! Our guests thoroughly enjoyed hearing our story through Steve, who delivered it with great humour and emotion. He has a certain way with words and we would not hesitate to recommend him.

Steve was absolutely amazing! He made the ceremony really special and tailored it to me and my partner's personalities and quirks. He made the ceremony memorable and entertaining for us and our guests, with the perfect balance of fun and serious moments. Steve went above and beyond to make us feel fully prepared for the ceremony ahead of time. Many of our guests told us that it was the best wedding ceremony they had ever attended – we agree of course. Thanks for making our special day perfect Steve!

Steve gave us so much information and help he recommended what were the best things to make our ceremony perfect.he gave us a brilliant guide to Weddings folder which was very helpful and we had regular emails and calls about what we needed to prepare for.
On the day we had little texts and he was so good and informative with our guests expressing our wishes.

Steve was an excellent celebrant. He was easy to communicate with and it was evident from early on that he is very experienced.

He was very attentive to making sure everyone involved was comfortable before beginning the formalities. The ceremony was smooth, prompt, light hearted and naturally delivered, setting the tone for the rest of the day.

What can we say about Steve? He’s spectacular! He made everything so easy, made us feel so comfortable, and helped us to get Rid off the stress we had. Steve had been so helpful since day 1 when we met him and even after the wedding with the documents I will be needing to change my name over etc. He is actually the first celebrant we met when we were just planning and instantly, we knew in our hearts that we want him to be our celebrant upon meeting him. He is calm, knowledgeable and really cares about his clients. He made us feel at ease. We are so glad to be married by him.

Thanks Steve, you were absolutely perfect!
I had paperwork to be completed and a letter to be written so it wasn’t easy looking for the right celebrant who understood our needs. Looking online at all the names was daunting especially when you contact some and only get half a reply or they don’t reply at all.
We then contacted Steve and super happy we did. From the get go Steve had us relaxing over a coffee (almost like chatting to an old friend), whilst discussing our needs and upcoming plans. It was a really unique experience as Steve took the time to get to know us and what suited us. It was about what we wanted.
Steve was very supportive, professional and a matching personality which shone through on the day. We just felt that we had the best celebrant in WA! He delivered us an amazing ceremony and one we will never forget and for this we are truly grateful.
After the ceremony friends and family commented on the ceremony and how wonderful Steve was. The poem he read after the ceremony was unexpected but touched our hearts deeply.

Amazing? Fantastic? Charismatic? How about all of the above!

Steve did such an wonderful job at the ceremony. His material was engaging and personalised to my Husband and I. His script wasn't simply rote material repeated in his ceremonies.

Many of our friends and family asked us where we found Steve, complimenting his service which was a credit to Steve.

On the morning of our wedding, prior to the ceremony, Steve sent individual video messages to my husband and I. He was a calming influence; I felt everything was in hand - which it was. Steve even asked my husband what colour he was wearing so he could match his outfit! Such an amazing attention to detail.

Steve, I would happily recommend you to anyone and everyone. You truly did an amazing service. It was faultless.

Steve not only met our expectations but he absolutely blew them out of the water! From our first meeting we knew straight away that we had chosen the right celebrant! He was there every step of the way with helpful advice and went above and beyond to make our wedding feel personalised. The ceremony itself was like no other we had experienced. It was personal and tailored to us with some funny anecdotes. He kept that perfect balance between an emotional and entertaining & light speech. Everybody at our wedding expressed how much they loved the ceremony and we could not have been happier. Due to Covid, we had to livestream our wedding – family and friends in Europe, New Zealand and in the US said how good that ceremony was! They have never experienced such a good ceremony/speech.
Steve truly set us up for the perfect day! We can't thank him enough for his performance and his help throughout the whole journey!

Steve was absolutely amazing, he created our ceremony despite us being in Sydney and unable to get back to Perth prior to the wedding. The ceremony was so unique to us and captured our relationship and the mood we wanted to create. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him, the ceremony was beyond what we could have asked for
