Status wasn't great when it was partially job seeker years ago. Now that it's completely only for Disability Employment Services (Disability jobseeker) they are 110% awesome. I strongly advise if people have health issues that make them struggle with work or mental health struggles to apply for Disability Employment Services rather than normal Jobseeker route. At first they will think you're talking about pension at centrelink but insist on Disability job seeker it does exist! (Centrelink has untrained staff at due to high turnover rate). Status as they are now completely understand my health condition struggles, are compassionate with days when my condition or mental health stops me from coming, and will even work hard to find a place that suits you with your struggles and not just drop you but support you through it even if you've gotten the job already. Shannon my person even helped me get my autism diagnosis and helped me through the paper work process, I can't recommend them enough.they have the emotional understanding and capability to empathise with what you are going through and even if you're not with them currently or not even on Disability Employment Services, you can call in and they can help you through the overwhelming process of applying for DES or even help you find a job not through centrelink:) they have workshops to help learn computer literacy skills and also English classes to help those with language struggles.

I am a 63yo male and am volunteering 30hrs a fortnight for my Newstart allowance. Status informed me I was booked in for a meeting to discuss my Job Plan. I went to Centrelink to speak to then about renewing the volunteering details, and was given the appropriate details, and told I did not need to attend at Status. I rang them and explained what I had done, requested I be removed form the meeting set for the following day, and was told a supervisor would ring me if the was any problems. I received no phone cal! I DID receive an SMS stating that my payments were now suspended for not attending the meeting. Shocking service!

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the staff at status. I was transferred to Status employment services when Communicare closed down, I thought nothing was worse than Communicare but Status is definitely a contender! I haven't been with this "job provider" very long but can already tell all they care about is ticking people off a list, forcing them to come in for appointments the time, and they don't offer any assistance or help in getting a job even when you've told them what you've done to try and gain work, they give you a few min of their time (it takes over an hour to get to my appointments via public transport) and even though I call them when I can't make an appointment and even sent over my medical certificate, they tell me it's invalid even though it's not. They've suspended my payment twice now for silly reasons, Status is a horrible company and the lack of respect for job seekers going through a hard time is appalling, all the staff should be replaced and they should start training staff in how to have more compassion, all these so called job providers do is make it ten times harder for us unemployed. I will definitely be switching job services.

I was told by my appointed client services officer her boss gave her permission to find a course and that I should get provider quotes for next appointment, I waited weeks for a text for an appointment, I finally rang and asked when is my appoint with Parvin, they said she no longer works with us and will give you a new appointment soon, next thing Centrelink has penalized me as a no show to appointments, hours in Centrelink to show them calls and recorded conversation to clear myself. Status and Centrelink is a disgrace relationship, not assisting anyone but themselves.

They childishly hung the phone up on me mid sentence. Extremely poor disgusting attitude, and unproffesional, they will treat you like a piece of dirt.

Its amazing the government allow these "services" to go on, its a sham and an outrage that these places treat people with little respect while earning a wage from tax payers.

Everyone in the morley office should be sacked and replaced with employees trained to deal with and understand people better.

AVOID STATUS MORLEY DON'T MAKE THEM MORE MONEY BY DANCING TO THEIR TUNE NEVER FORGET THESE ARE FOR-PROFIT ORGANISATIONS THAT HAVE THEIR OWN GREEDY AGENDAS, AND THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR INTERESTS. REQUEST TO BE MOVED OR FIND A JOB ON YOUR OWN.

Can't find you a job but can cancel your centrelink payment because they fail to hand over information right

Recently was allocated to Status Employment Midland. Asked for assistance to fund my Police Clearance as I had had a job interview the week before but they said they couldn’t attend to the matter for another month as they were “too busy”. I asked if i pay for it now can i get reimbursed later, reply “dont know”. Not a good start! It appears from my experience that there is a major cultural problem in the Jobnetwork industry. Bloody only intersted in ticking boxes and not actually helping people find work.

I was allocated to Salvation Army Employment the day they closed down, so then got moved to Status. I couldn't attend an appointment but you can't get through to let them know, low and behold, payments are suspended, still cant get through to rebook.

I'll be moving employment provider as this is simply appalling.

I have a decent resume, loads of experience and I got 2 job interviews through them in the course of 7 months. Their approach is this: find ways to penalize you in order to give their employer (centerlink) the impression your time out of work is not their responsibility. Clever strategy I guess but I think they'd have greater chance of survival if they actually found people work. Their mission statement is "keep themselves alive", a poor performance guarantees an axe to their heads. They do this by validating a poor record through penalizing the unemployed. The government spends a ridiculous amount on these network providers, if they cant do their job then they have to a least give a reason why (their own incompetence is not a reason), you are. Dont register with them, it's that simple, they dont do their job even with all the resources they have (which you dont) like financial incentives for employers, etc. 2 interviews in 7 months, I think speaks for itself.

Sadly no minus review numbers available. Just as autocratic and crazy as any government 'service' provider ever was.
