My job provider Paige has been nothing short of amazing. I came to Paige after several years of underwhelming providers with other job agencies. I was so frustrated with the system and lack of any assistance with other agencies and Paige has turned that experience completely around. Her professionalism, sense of urgency, support and knowledge of how to help is second to none. With Paiges’ assistance with boosting my self confidence, helping me update and format my resume to reflect the current job market, and recommending me for job vacancies, I have been successful in securing an amazing full time job! I cannot thank you Paige at Status Joondalup enough. Keep being amazing!

Giving one star as it wouldn't let me give ZERO.

Steer clear of this office if you're a disability client.

They change your caseworker without notice (horrible when you have severe anxiety). No compassion for an individuals circumstances. Have people without empathy or training in the disability section. One untrained, barbaric, rude, uncaring male who obviously couldn't read or couldn't be bothered reading my file - told me about - NOT REFERRED - a position completely out of my abilities and then blatantly lied about me non attending an appt even though there was proof that I signed in, spoke to the receptionist who had to get this pig, and said pig and a new staff member spoke with me for 20 minutes = I received a demerit. Should be closed down.

For me dealing with status employment has been nothing short of discussting and unprofessionalism at its worst. Status employment has caused me to lose everything from Centrelink payments my living arrangements my children and personal mental health. They has promised the world and delivered nothing, to not once have they put my name forward for any positions available and recently discovered t my cv that was printed and drawn up by staff at status to false information miss spelt and phone no. To personal and biusness references to be incorrect, resulting in no corresponding replies. Very unprofessional and advise everyone to seek other services in this field elsewhere.
After writing my review on status employment I have been contacted by staff and the regional manager in regards to my issues with status employment, we sat down for a meeting today to discuss these issues as they were unaware of this problem. My issues with status employment were all dew to one staff member who is no longer at status employment and I feel that my review was a little hasty and harsh and would like to retract some if not most of my review as I feel that after discussing my issues and getting it all off my chest that I should not of aimed my anger at status employment as a business. I would like to thank yaneka and Mike the regional manager for taking the time to listen and and for their understanding and assistance in these matters and I look forward to moving forward and obtaining the employment I seek through the status employment group.

Shocking terrible service. They NEVER return your calls, they NEVER reply to your emails, they do nothing to assist you finding a job. They take an eternity to get things moving to help you find work even when you do everything that they ask you to do.

I totally disagree with previous review. All the ladies here are kind empathetic and professional. I’ve had great service from Sheila who went out of her way to assist me to gain qualifications I needed for my business pursuits. Jo on reception is so friendly and welcoming and their team are very respectful to each other.

Thank you Status for all your help and support

Regards

Jane

Dont expect any kind of decency or to be treated like a person. You are just a number in this place. Just a nasty business model that has a revolving door policy designed to keep people in the system. They are not interested in helping you find work that matches your skills even though they say they will find. "suitable" work for you. As long as you have a heartbeat qualifies as "suitable" for their very poor offerings. If you resist or question, they will throw you out.

I give status employment Joondalup 1 star because they failed to give me the benefit of the doubt and treat me like a real person when I had a GENUINE REASON for been 15 minutes late for 1 appointment. It was my first appointment. Furthermore I was soon to be put on DES so some compassion should have been given. I incurred a demerit point that should not have been placed on my file in the first place. I did try and get this resolved but unfortunately the matter was just pushed under the rug.

Do not be fooled, demerit points can be removed. I have verified this from a department of customer helpline consultant and it is 100% possible to have these demerits removed with ease. Know your rights.

The system is supposed to be designed for people who do not comply, not for people who are willing to do the right thing and have a once off genuine reason. This is a form of bullying and this system needs to be reformed.

HOWEVER:
Now that I am on DES I will at least give credit and 5 full stars to Kathryn Rae my DES Job Seeker Consultant. She is brilliant at what she does and is very sincere.

Andre Puglia.
