My little one started at St Simon Peter ELC this year and has absolutely thrived in the centre. He is a happy little boy on drop off and doesn’t want to leave when picked up. Thank you to the staff in the Maali Room who show kindness and care in their interactions. Each week the centre has incursions/excursions planned, a variety of activities incorporating the children’s interests for indoor and outdoor play. The room always has a display of the children’s artwork and my little one is always so proud to show me. We enjoy the community feel around the centre with family picnic days and Easter egg hunts to involve the families. A highlight is the big outdoor area for my little one to run around and work on his gross motor skills. My little one also enjoys the animal interactions the centre provides including the guinea pigs, chickens and worm farm. Also, the ELC provides information sessions for parents such as Peggy Lego and Nutrition Seminar and very community focused with charity supporting initiatives like St Vincent de Paul food donations and bread tag collections for Wheelchairs. The educators use the Seesaw app to share the learning experiences and any important information so we are kept up to date. This review is based off 10 weeks at the centre so we certainly look forward to the coming years our son has at St Simon Peter. Thank you to the ladies, for making the Maali Room a safe and welcoming environment for our family.

This school is very bad. There are a few good teachers within the school, but many teachers showed rude/disrespectful behaviours towards the children. One teacher in particular (Mrs Ainslee Oakes) Severely traumatised a large group of younger students, with swearing, rude comments and terrible teaching. The worst part about Mrs Oakes was her music that she played at full volume, that actually caused severe ear problems to multiple students. This created an unsafe and unhappy working environment within her classes.

Beautiful school and the staff are lovely. My kids are doing so well academically and socially there. It has an after and before school club so that's so handy. Also has health services on site!
