St Paul's Catholic Church

Beautiful little church that catered for a very large funeral. Parking is a little difficult, but a beautiful old church

Priest very Irish Catholic and comes across a bit narcissistic. If you like a performer then this is the church for you.

The Ordinariate Community which worships here is a welcoming group of Christians committed to the teaching of the Apostles, Christian Unity, and true communion. The Sacraments and Divine Office (Evensong) are true expressions of their Anglican Heritage, brought into unity with the Bishop of Rome.

Built in 1957! Small, simple and cosy with a feeling of welcome. Unique long, stained glass panels with abstract designs. Got all this from one visit. I must attend Mass there one day.

Reverential worship facing the altar with well organised priests and a large, youthful community. Welcoming to visitors. Parish also hosts an Ordinariate community. Lots of candles available. Confessionals at the back are very quiet. Garden is well kept. Toilets are clean with keys found in the narthex.

At 11: 15am on Sundays they have the Ordinariate Mass- very traditional Gregorian Liturgy in Ceremonial English (some times described as the Extraordinary Form in English).

I am deeply sorry I am no longer living anywhere near enough to attend this parish's masses. The faith community is warm and welcoming and the services are conducted with reverence. The homilies are engaging because their content is so informative and well researched. Beautiful organ music accompanies the Saturday evening mass. I miss this parish.
