St. Patrick's Community Support Centre is a wonderful example of a Community working together to support the Lonely, Disadvantaged, and the Homeless.
I was fortunate to attend St. Pat's 50th Birthday celebration as the Co-Chair of the WA Alliance to End Homelessness Steering Committee along with Co-Chair Philippa Boldy, Executive Officer, David Pearson and Steering Committee member, St. Pat's very own Michael Piu.
Volunteers play a big role in caring for the less fortunate, so do not hesitate to contact them if you are in a position to help and of course, Donations to St. Pats will always be gratefully recieved and eligible to be claimed as a Tax deduction.
I’ve heard so many good things about St Pats, hence why I went for support recently. I was broke, had a week left until my next paycheck, was starving and had work in an hour. I went to St Pats for support, expecting at least a meal to get me through, but when I went in I was told I had to pay $2 for a meal. I had absolutely no money on me and I felt betrayed. Just goes to show how messed up the world is, especially for those in need. I left with a pack of 2 crackers and a face full of tears.
I used St Patrick's dental surgery service. I'm no a disability pension, I can't afford to see any other dentist I was on a waiting list. After I had a few appointments with the dental surgery in there office which would off cost me a lots of money anywhere else, it was a free community service that St Patrick's does. Thank God they have a services like this in their centre. The dental surgeons were great it wasn't trainees directly fully qualified dentists. If you're in financial hardship cannot afford a dentist I would certainly look at booking an appointment with them with a referral.
This is the place that other welfare agencies can and should learn from
They have the welfare of the community covered perfectly.
My experience with st pats extends from the hands on health team to the street doctors and of course to the starlight choir without them and st pats itself I would be very very bored thankyou to everyone including Michael Liu the ceo thankyou thankyou
Just good folk. Gonna drop in next Monday/Tuesday 9 thirty am. Check out the starlight choir1 that's why I"m going? This instrument needs tuning. Bad!
Good help if you're struggling. Go in and sign up for the free dental clinic if you have a centerlink card.
Essential place in Freo for our rough sleepers and needy in our community. Love the work that they apply daily. Great value ️
Rob is the best staff. Carmel as the clinical receptionist is a also caring.
Optometry and dentistry are fantastic.
The street doctor on Thursdays is impatient and a bit short temper. She starts late and patients have to wait.
Thanks to St. Patrick's community service in Freo. They were able to secure a temporary stay through Saint Vinnie's for me and my partner. We are so humble that a position through their referral service helped secure us a stay for 7nights whilst we try to find a way and/or support service that can help guide us through homelessness.
A special thanks to Heather From St. Patricks in Freo for your amazing support. We can't thank you enough.
We recommend St Patrick's Freo to anyone struggling with anything surrounding homelessness as their service could help guide you in the right direction! Not to mention the other services that could help.
Amazing!

St Pats hosts a variety of services that are available to the homeless and the unemployed. There is always someone there to assist you with food clothing medical services and any other assistance that you may require.
They have many services. Breakfast and 3 course lunch for a gold coin donation. They help with housing and with food vouchers.
Very helpful on financial hardship, advice, accommodation, they help in many ways no matter the help you need they will everything they can help you either by themselves or getting external help for you.
They are very amazing people there all the staff oohh my God they are God Sents. Nikki, Tom, Bridget just to name a few.
God bless them for everything they do
Kitchen staff grumpy and rude.breakfast good.pity there s only one computer. Lack of use of phones a problem lack of social workers a issue too
It's a fantastic place that offers free breakfast coffee free bread products only a day old. A dentist that's very inexpensive. Financial counselling. Street lawyer. Homeless male cheap accommodation. Food vouchers. Free lunch for those struggling on a Saturday. A food van offering cheaper shopping for those in need. Lovely staff whom most are volunteer. This wonderful refuge and resource Centre is at risk of cut backs due to its popularity among the needy and lack of funding and donations. It would be such a sad day if this vital Centre had to make huge cutbacks or worse, close down, as its resources are needed more than ever with the increase in homelessness and so many people on struggle street. There's fruit and bread brought in that are free on a first come first serve basis. It's well needed and always busy. If you'd like to donate yr time or a monetary donation St Pats is a genuine charity in dire need of more funding as the gap between the haves and have nots widens. A very caring haven for the neediest people who respect and follow the policies very well. God Bless all the amazing staff at St Patricks.
St Pat's Fremantle does amazing work, assisting homeless people and those with a range of health and personal issues. Offering a welcoming environment and terrific staff, St Pats deserves your support.
