Our doctor, Dr Reddy was incredibly helpful. He was kind and supportive with our two year old and listened to all of our concerns.
Extremely happy with the service at St John General Practice in Joondalup. I called the practice managed to get an appointment that same morning - I was there for 55 minutes in total, saw the Dr who did a thorough consult, then had xrays and saw the Dr again with the results. Yes it cost $130 of which I received $53.65 back from Medicare - well worth the out of pocket expense of $76.35 to have such quick and professional service.
Excellent service easy to use just need to fill in details on line, had a Telehealth appointment and was called on time
We have visited St John General Practice on a number of occasions, and have always been very happy with the medical advice we have been given, very thorough and caring. Highly recommend.

First she kept interrupting me saying “yeah yeah” every 20 seconds. Then I explained my medications that I’ve been on that are on the records she has received, for 15+ years. Refused to give me a repeat as per the past as she wants to investigate the reported on issue I have had since my accident in 2007. She can see it is an ongoing claim, that I have myself reduced the amount of medication but still wants me to spend time I don’t have, to go and get new scans, xrays, pain specialists that I have done in the past repeatedly. Spent most of the appointment telling me why I shouldn’t be on the medication, wanted to discuss all what I have and haven’t done which took so much time, which my records would show, that we don’t have enough time to talk about my other concern. I’ve asked for and signed for all my records to be sent across. I made a list of what I needed to discuss including a serious pain that is new. She told me she didn’t have time but then charged me for a double appointment… will now need to book another appointment to get help for an issue that could have been discussed in the “double appointment” I paid extra for. Then I had to wait another 10 mins before she would send out the account for me to pay… time better spent seeing and helping your patient.
Not impressed at all and will not be back.
Very impressed with service and the ability to have X ray at same time in same building was great.
We absolutely love our Dr and always receive great care, however the fact that we are now only bulk billed between the hours of 9am and 2: 30pm for children is ridiculous given this is when children are at school!
Have visited this clinic a couple of times now and always greeted warmly by the reception staff. Attended yesterday for my daughter and was seen by the GP fairly promptly, who was very caring and attentive to my daughters needs.
Dr Marsh was amazing, very informative, time punctual and was very interactive and caring towards my 2 year old son (who was the patient). Both receptionist that were on were fantastic, very welcoming and helpful.

I called the practice to confirm my shot was bulk billed and they still charged me. They’ve become so greedy. Do not recommend.

Never been here before but after a little accident at a shop up the rd came here to be checked out. Quick and extremely friendly service. Wouldn't hesitate to return here and highly recommend this practice. So good to know it's an option in my area.
My wife attended this medical centre after an injury to her wrist at work with extreme pain down her lower arm, she was given an X-ray and with nothing showing as broken she was released, her workers comp file was closed after 2 weeks sick leave, she complained about the continued pain and was EVENTUALLY sent for an MRI by her GP which showed a COMPLETE tear to her Triangular Fibrocartilage Complex which now requires surgery. Good on ya St John Of God Medical Centre, NOT.
You will be left out of pocket about $100 and waste about 4 hours of your day. Don't bother. Go to ED or wait until you can see a half decent GP.
I think the centre is doing what it there for and I believe its subjective opinion as to likes and dislikes. I find the Doctors that I visit quite "fit for purpose" and willing to help over and above. I think some people these days are a little unkind for no reason and they wont be impressed with technology until they can download food. All else fails.there are plenty of other options and Medical Centres that Im sure will avail their services. Well done Joondalup Medical Centre, Doctors, Nurses, Admin and anyone else that is not mentioned here that deserves an accalaid. I must mention that they have a doctor there that is a "super typist". Just about types with two hands tied behind her back she is that efficient.
They have always been good for us but unfortunately now that they don't bulk bill we will find somewhere else
As you are aware St John Medical Joondalup they don't do bulk billing any more hope they are going to do some upgrades to their facility as its looking very out of date not very professional image.
Had such a lovely experience bringing my 3yr old daughter in. Was met by 2 lovely receptionists, triaged by Carl who was so kind and was seen by Dr Paul Gannon. He was so gentle and patient with my daughter. Was amazing service. Thank you!

I attended for my appointment and was told that there was no booking even though the receptionist called ME to book the appointment. This was not a problem and the lady behind the counter was very helpful and managed to book me to see an Urgent Care doctor. The Urgent Care doctor (Alan Noonan) was extremely unhelpful and did not address any of the concerns. This is the second time I have had to deal with this doctor. The first time he implied that the use of Melatonin was causing my nausea (a doctor later confirmed it was not) ; however, this time he told me he can only prescribe me Melatonin. He then told me I need to book another appointment to see a doctor who can address my concerns. This was a waste of a visit and my time.
