St John Medical Cockburn (Previously Apollo Health) reviews
67Easy to book appointment, friendly staff, efficient one stop shop. Waiting time was minimal.
Great Health service, well run, person centred and very efficient. I was seen I a timely manner and all staff were very courteous. Highly recommend
This is the second time I have had the need to Visit St John Emergency practice at Cockburn and both times I have been treated urgently and with the greatest care. I would not hesitate in recommending St John Emergency practice. The staff are all very professional and supply the greatest of care. Many thanks to the whole team.
Generally rude reception staff both over the phone and in person has been my experience over the last two years. This practice (the reception/admin staff) not GP’s seem to prioritise payment/debt collection above everything else! As if they are heavily incentivised by a KPI or simply really enjoy demanding immediate payment before dealing with any other issue. There has been a couple of occasions where the practice put my account into arrears in error and this had to be rectified by the GP. Most recently where this happened again I couldn’t be bothered to investigate either way so as stop the receptionist from talking in such an abrasive tone, so just gave my card details. Further as soon as you have an account balance it gets referred to a debt collection agency called Baycorp who like to send threatening letters. It’s my opinion that the support/admin staff significantly let this practice down. Good job the medical staff do a great job and oddly have better manners than those who are the first interaction with customers.
I visited surgery this morning for the first time. I was seen in a timely manner. The GP was great and I sure I will visit again if I need to
My son and I have attended this practice for years and have had great experiences with the nurses and doctors.
Dr Hussain has always made us feel heard and taken care of.
Dr Khatri is great, very thoughtful and considerate, has been great for my teenagers. Would highly recommend.
Absolutely wonderful care from all staff this morning when I attended. Very impressed with the kindness and treatment I received. Thank you to all the lovely staff from the reception, nurses and Dr.
We didn’t wait long for help, we received the best care.
Staff, Nurses and Drs were professional and friendly!
Booked easily online for the same day. GP was excellent and engaging. Managed my presenting issue but also did preventative health checks too. Happy to pay private fees but couldn't see anywhere online or in clinic on what the fees are. So adding that detail would be helpful
DR ARBUCKLE is Perth's best GP! Brilliant, compassionate, caring and an unbelievable range of knowledge, at the highest level. Literally saved my life and the support and care extended to my family.
The staff are wonderful too. So helpful, professional and efficient.
I thank the staff at St John's for there services as my son broke his thumb being a kid and with no time seen x ray and plastered in 1.5 hrs and a son disappointed but comfortable as much as he could be.
Thank you all at St John
Very helpful and caring staff, had a very positive experience and will be back. Highly recommend.
First class experience from reception Docter and nursing staff. I would highly recommend this practice and certainly use it in future
Great service, did multiple checks on my father when we attended today and planned follow up.
I went in with a marine sting/bite that was causing me severe pain, believing I would be seen urgently, as it is called Urgent Care. The receptionist’s response was offhand and informed me there could be up to an hour’s wait to be seen. Eventually I was referred on to Fiona Stanley.
I have been to St John of God Urgent Care multiple times and each time I have left completely unsatisfied with the ‘care’ provided. The first time my husband presented with a what we thought was a broken toe (it was black, blue, swollen and he couldn’t weight bare). He had X-rays taken and was told it wasn’t broken, it’s probably just an infection. He was sent away with antibiotics. After 2 weeks of severe pain, no improvement, he went back. They repeated the X-ray to find out that it was in fact broken but unfortunately it was too late to fix. Completely appalling. How do you miss a broken bone in the first place? Todays visit is my final. I was told 30 mins wait time (more like 1.5 hours). My 17 month old was very unwell. High temps that weren’t responding to the usual panadol and nurofen, he wouldn’t drink much water, off his food, very irritable. The nurse was lovely and took his observations. We then waited an hour to see the Doctor. What a waste of time. He looked at my child, did the usual observations and said there’s nothing wrong. I said he’s just been screaming your waiting room down, I can no longer get him to take pain relief because he can’t swallow properly and he is far from himself. The doctors response was “I look at children as a whole, not just the observations and he is letting me do the observations so he must be ok. ” I’m sorry but what sort of theory is that? You are a trained physician, yet you’re satisfied with a child’s health as long as they let you do the observations. By this point my child was completely past it, at the point of exhaustion. We had just wasted $151 for a completely useless doctor to not do his job properly. I am now back home with a very sick child who has a temp of 39 and won’t take pain relief. If we end up needing an ambulance tonight I will be sending you the bill! Avoid this place at all costs!
Thank you to Dr Samuel I, Nurse Lauren and lovely Radiologist for great care of my father. Very professional, great communication and friendly.
The receptionist here are awful, so rude and very unhelpful. Enough to make me never wanna come back.
I needed a prescription for Champix. I was lucky to get the last vacant appointment for the day. Although I jad to leave work early for it. I fortunately did not have to wait too long to be see, and the appointment was quick and easy. So I have just been to the pharmacy to fill it, only to be told that it has been out of stock for 3 YEARS! And is not due in until October. How did the doctor not know this? I was told there is a stronger one in stock, but need another prescription. Walked over to the clinic only to be turned away. I will definitely be asking for a refund for my consultation.
