I cannot say enough that describes the type of experience I had at St James Hair Studio without sounding utterly Kookie lol. I am not one to visit a hairdresser, probably due to my budget and I am from Nth Qld But you need to experience this hair salon, not only did I feel totally embraced and welcomed by staff, The attention and care by Anne.thankyou you are a beautiful soul and very talented. She gave me a new lease on life, restored my energy levels, she doesn't talk necessantly, I was provided a hot tea and snack, I had a hair wash, treatment and colour. Anne spent goid quality time massaging my head, and has a healing gift no doubt and felt instant joy, love, happiness and peace. Alvin, your staff are amazing a d credit to you and your training and guidance. Yourself I fekt like we'd met in a past lifetime. This place is heavenly. Prices are great considering Alvin is a master and the service you receive is at the Highest Standard, I walked away feeling like the most peaceful, my inner strength restored, beautiful happy customer. Alvin, the hairstylist! It’s truly wonderful when we find professional who not only listen to our needs but also take pride in delivering exactly what we want. It’s even more impressive that Alvin and the team managed to rescue my split ends caused by excessive bleaching. I had an event on Wednesday I called so many salon and they couldn’t help me. But I was super lucky to choose this place because the service and they way they swiftly cut my bangs was really good and I did a wash and blow dry too. Definitely coming here often.

The hair dresser is very friendly and welcoming, but unfortunately didn’t do a good job, I was there for 1.5hr for a simple cut. The layers are not blending well after one wash, very disappointing.

I have been looking for a hair studio that does Asian hairstyles well, and St James has been around for a long time + is in a convenient location in Northbridge. Service is exceptional from Alvin and Ann, and they did an amazing job perming and cutting my hair. The price is reasonable and the place is also very aesthetic. Thank you - I'll be back here for my regular cuts from now on!

You don’t have to book an appointment ages ago. Just book a day ahead or early morning, they always welcome you. They listens to customers and provide good idea what haircut suits in your face. I like the service and will go again.

Don’t think I’ll be able to go anywhere else now! I adore my new hair and Alvin and Anne for their professionalism and service. Got to try out their new hair colour - black tea as pictured below and I’m in loveeeeee will definitely be coming back for when it needs a re-dyeing! I

I tryed this salon for the first time. They welcomed me and I explained my concerns and clearly mentioned I don't want any pulling of my hair and excess heat and my hair needs lots of pampering as my scalp and hair are sensitive. He recommended me some treatment which is full of heat and full of pulling my hair and right in front of me I had to see them pulling and breaking my hair off and when i asked the girls they told me they cannot help me I have to go through pain as I have long hair and top of this it is very very very expensive they charged 400AUD I had to leave the salon vth severe headache and lots of hair loss. Very bad service and I dint even find the man whom I talked to at the end.

I went there last week with my family, The staff were so friendly and good customer service. All my fam had a new hair cut with Mini, she’s so satisfied and we got wonderful new hair cut. Absolutely great ️️️high recommend

I did a hair cut, balayage and treatment with Mini the hair stylist. As its my first time dyeing my hair I was really glad I went with her, she did a really fantastic job, took time and very reassuring. I recommend to go to her if you need to get your hair done, plus shes very approachable and sweet.

On another note although I thought the hair treatment didn't really do much for my hair but I guess it's normal if I had just bleached it?
