I agree with every other negative reviews
The only positive comments are most likely people who are yet to make a claim
They excel at finding excuses and reasons not to pay
6 mths after the event after been told inwas covered I get denied

I had a major loss with a tenant and this insurance company didn’t pay me a dollar, absolutely irresponsible with lots of lies
Those written good things about this agency are not real customers, don’t trust them stay away from this agency

I would like to say a huge thank all around to the team at SGUA since about May this year we have had quite a few properties fences that have come down with storms and myself and my property management team have had dealings with your claims department and I must say in all my years of property management SGUA are right up at the top for fast, efficient and wonderful service. Also very recently dealt with insurance and also an assessor due to damages and again, amazing service. Thank you so much SGUA you are amazing and I would 100% recommend your services.

This agency seems to be very good at collecting premiums but doesn’t offer any customer service whatsoever nor take responsibility for anything! I do not recommend them

Would highly recommend SGUA for your insurance needs. They have very friendly and professional staff and their claims team are fantastic and process their claims quickly and efficiently.

The previous reviewers have obviously not tried to make a claim on a policy. Keep well away from these people.

Simply the best.
I have worked with a lot of insurance companies over the past 15+ years in property management but none compare with SGUA and TICA. They have a very experienced team that are easy to deal with during a claim and always make themselves available to discuss scenarios and to give advice. I can't recommend them enough.

STAY AWAY. These guys go to extreme extents to NOT pay a claim or walk away from a claim. Example: Fence storm damage. A simple, cut and dry claim on a rental property, submitted by real estate agent. They invoke one of their preferred 'building inspectors' who claims that the fence was worn down anyway and fell down by it self. STAY AWAY STAY AWAY. Stick with a reputable insurance company, not a 2-bit company like SGUA. Note - the policy savings was only $20-$30 cheaper than RAC or CGU. Go with somebody who does insurance, rather than a fly-by-night like this one!
