There's alot of people that need help there but at the same time it's also home to people that were previously living on the streets, so it's a God send and the staff there do the best they can to help the residents seek and receive the help they need

I volunteer here and the people do a great job in difficult circumstances. Love being a part of the St Barts community Perth needs more places like this.

Discrimination at its finest from the ladies in the HR department. I was offered a job as a support worker. The interview was great and I was highly intrigued on St. Barts working operation. In the interview, I gave two staff members a copy of my NPC which has driving offences on it. I was assured that the driving offences would not be a problem because I would NOT be transporting any clients as all the work is ' in house ' and the driving offences were over 2 years old.

A few weeks had passed and I still had not received my contract. Even after calling HR twice in two weeks (I had turned down two other job offers and one interview). After finally getting hold of HR, I was told that a staff member in HR was on annual leave and I should receive my contract shortly. A few more days had passed and I received an email from another HR member saying that St. Barts would no longer be able to offer me a job! (even though I had emails saying that my contract is being written up) I even paid for a new NPC (by the request of HR). Its ludacris that they discriminate againts people who have driving offences. I have been unemployed since the covid outbreak and I've been struggling to gain employement. Unfortunately the two other jobs that were offered to me are no longer available! To add to this whole dilemma, once I received the email saying that employment will no longer be offered, I've left several messages and written several emails asking for an explanation as to why I was offered a contract in the first place especially since I was up front about my driving convictions. Not ONE email or phone call has been replied to me. They have simply ' swept it under the rug ' and brushed it off. Well done St. Barts! Very professional HR department you have!

If this is the way they treat people who are about to start work with them, I'd hate to know how they treat the clients who are suffering from AOD and homelessness. I'm starting to think its a blessing in disguise after reading the reviews on Seek from former employees. St. Barts has a massive staff turn over rate. A rating of 1.7 out of 5.0 on Seek. Do not waste your time if you're thinking of applying for a job. You'll get stuffed around majorly from HR. It's bad publicity for you ladies at HR and appalling form like this will spread quickly! I'll be sure it does! - Nathan Wilkinson

I had the misfortune of being homeless back in 2015 and I went thru the system at St Bart's and with their help thru counselling and knowledge I was able to move thru the system and I am extremely thankful for the help that the showed to me and many others that have been thru the community.

While living out in the Bush with Ross River, chest infection and kidney infection, which almost finished me off, the admissions officer from here for 6 months told me next week there will be an opening. Everytime I called it was next week, next week, we will call you back.

At no point did I receive a call back, sms, email or message on answering machine.

I find it very hard to believe that for 6 months there was not a single bed available, shame on you.

St Barts (Kensington Womens) in East Perth assists individuals who are experiencing displacement or at risk of homelessness. The service provides (also assists and prepares) accommodation, case support and management to meet the needs of the client. Its a shame that funding has been cut from the womens service. Fundraising initiatives to begin 2020. Stay tuned.

Be ultra careful with this company, their Maintenance people only hire family members as contractors. Good to see our donations are going to a good place hey

This is transitional accommodation therefore St Barts is not long term accommodation. St Barts is comfortable however it's not exactly for me at this point in my life

Top place but parking is just the nightmare. The parking meters are to understand and hard to read after lunch due to sun light.
