St Aidan Wines reviews
56Attended a wedding at St Aidan’s and the staff were so lovely. We had our 8 month old with us and they went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. The venue itself and the food were also great, but the staff really made the evening for us:)
We had lunch here and had the beef cheek and barramundi absolutely delicious. The staff are very attentive and the surrounds gorgeous. Will be back. Rose wine was easy drinking.
Food, wine and staff. Totally sensational. Always a favorite. Looking forward to summer evening movies.
Lovely place in the Ferguson Valley, food was amazing. And loved their Sauvignon Blanc Semillon. Had a lovely day
I attended 'Cabernet by Candlelight' at Saint Aidan's - a 4-course tasting menu with paired wines. Everything was amazing - the food, wine, staff and ambience. It was great to meet the owners and hear their stories too. Highly recommend! - Kimberley
Probably 3 -1/2 stars. Service good. Noisy like most resturants nowadays. Pity. Most of the food seemed satisfactory. (table of 8) We had the harissa fish- a strange combination. No wow factor there. Enjoyed the tempranillo wine.
Saint Aidens crew had us and our families for our wedding celebration dinner. Everyone on the night was incredibly lovely and accommodating. We picked the trust the chef menu for anll 20 of us and we were pleasantly surprised by the selection of food and how tasty they were. Needless to say we got to try their great selection of wine.
Special shout out to Julie for the communications leading up to the night. Enjoy your long service leave!
And the owner Mary. Thank you so much for having us that night. We hope to see you soon.
We had the BEST Barramundi meal and Most beautiful dessert for lunch, the Chef is amazing THANK YOU
Beautiful setting, fantastic service, delicious meals and wines very fair prices love love
Fantastic experience here today taking my mum out for an impromptu lunch. The barramundi was exceptional, the service impeccable and the honey macadamia cheesecake on ginger snap dessert was just divine then add on a delightful wine tasting experience and taking home a delicious liquer muscat on top - absolutely a highly rated and very highly recommended experience.
Came here for lunch and wine tastings - the moscato is a must try but the mains for lunch were honestly quite disappointing. The lamb especially was quite dry, would definitely come back for the wine but not for the food.
Great wines, we bought a case
Seriously delicious meals
Friendly staff
Beautiful place and location, close to Crooked Brook Walk Trails
Awesome setting. Great service. Looked after by lovely ladies. The fortified wine is an a must try. Stunnibg.
Very quaint winery with excellent grounds. Food is fantastic with very nice wines. Staff are friendly and attentive.
Was an excellent place for a few hours away from the hustle and bustle. Great wine tasting and cheese plate and meat share. Great friendly service. Would recommend this Winery for their menu and wines and ambiance.
We did not have a very good experience at St Aidan’s. We made a lunch booking approx a month ago for 8 people, but when we were at the restaurant they had run out of most of the main items on the menu. We were left with very limited options to order from the menu, the same thing happened with dessert & they had even run out of biscuits to go with our coffee.
Our steak had no flavour & had not been seasoned. All round, it was a very disappointing experience. On the upside, the setting is beautiful & the staff were friendly. However we will not be returning to this restaurant.
We had the 'Moorish Monday' menu. Four mystery courses, all tasty and delicious, then desert also delicious. Great wines too.
Amazing staff and wine. I tried the mulled cab sauv wine and it was amazing. Definitely worth the visit. Take in the amazing views of the Ferguson valley and enjoy the nice wines.
What a hidden gem of a winery/restaurant.
Food, wine, service, and venue were all amazing.
