78We ordered takeaway to take down to the beach, grilled Barra and fried snapper + a side of squid. Great quality and decent helpings.
The fish was great, dim sims ok, but the chips were cold & soft, the potato scallops (cakes) were undercooked, and the batter was oily.
Excellent snapper fish and chips here! The fish is fresh and the batter is not too thick and crispy. I can't help but to also finish up the fries
Excellent delectable - Gold band snapper was an excellent choice for ‘fish and chips’! Highly recommended.
Greatest fish and chips I've ever had, baby squid was also perfectly seasoned and cooked. Fantastic!
Such long waiting time
We waited for 40mins
Not very good service at all
The food is OK
Not very worth for 40mins wait
One of the best we’ve had. Went for the gourmet box and absolutely no regrets. The owner was also super friendly, who recommended us the snapper which could be the most deboned & give us a sense of confidence to feed our little one - thank you!
Beautiful food, great vibe, our only got to fish and chip shop when we stay in Margaret River. Highly recommend.
A takeaway joint with some seating outside. Loved the beer battered fish and chips, chose the snapper fish which had a nice bite and was thick and juicy. The thick cut fries were pretty good as well. Preferred their fish over their signature squid & would recommend that instead.
We ordered gummy shark and chips, it was fresh, hot and crispy. Was so good that we had it 2 days in a row!
Wonderful Gummy Shark but shame that the chips were probably cooked sometime earlier so we're lukewarm and chewy. You have to get the chips right and that means freshly cooked.
Food was good, was expecting a bit bigger portion for the price, but oh well this is a tourist area I guess ;)
Fish is good, chips are more like Red Rooster chips than the larger traditional fish'n'chips chips. Don't bother calling as they let the phone ring out. Good times don't last forever and customer memory is longer
Sorry guys but when you serve up a mixed package it all needs to be hot at the same time, fish and squid etc was good and hot when we got home 5 minutes later but the chips were stone motherless cold, made it all rather disappointing.
So delicious I got the squid and chips and Cajun seasoning and it’s so freaking yummy it’s takes the show
Excellent Service. The food is good and well priced. The store is centrally located.
Thanks
Got dinner from Squid Lips tonight.
Chips were quite average, not good, not bad.
Fish tasted nice but was a bit oily.
Greasy dark brown soggy chips that were (somehow) still not cooked through. Rubbery fish. Worst fish & chips I’ve ever had. So disappointed
Meat is fresh, firm and succulent. Batter is light and not oily. Dipping sauce is delicious and refreshing as well.
Food was/is fantastic. But my highlight was the young fella taking orders.
Credit is due mate. You were absolutely fantastic and made the ordering process sooooo easy, such a bright and happy fella. Nothing like the usual suspects that normally work out front!
Thanks mate.
PS, the crocodile was amazing!
