Spudshed Wanneroo reviews
60Its cheap, some bargains but alot of stuff really rotten. Bought beef bones today to make bone broth. Got home cracked bag open to roast to smell rotting corpse aroma. Had to open the windows to empty stench double bagged into wheely bin. Tried to contact store as no reply. POOR FOOD SAFETY.good job i didnt eat and get sick.lost effort and cash.poo
I just love this place! Always really fresh produce, meat is very cheap compared to the supermarkets. Staff are so polite and helpful. This young lad gave my children a chocolate yesterday while shopping which was Soo sweet! The prices of the fruit and veg are just so great! I save $100's by shopping here instead of Coles.
There are no scales in the fruit and vegetable area.
I'm thinking it's done this way so you'll buy more.
Good spot for groceries and general household shopping. There are ample parking spots and good accessibility options.
Wanted to grab something and it was 15 minutes before closing and he told us not to come in and said it was 5 minutes left. The time was 9: 45pm lol like we’re dumb. I work late hour trades at another store and never turn away customers even 1 minute before closing, let alone 15 minutes.and then lie about the time, yeah can be a slight inconvenience but don’t be lazy.
OK, to all the people complaining about the fruit and veg not being fresh: How about you actually only buy what you like? You are free to see, smell, touch and examine the loose produce and buy what you want of it. And get this: fresh food doesn't have to come in bags! This spud shed is good value, and has an especially good meat section, with some well priced stuff on offer. Consumer discretion advised; caveat emptor dudes:)
Throw your stuff on one side n give u plastic bag n asking for new customer so u have to be quick not to mix with other person stuff. And price wise is not cheaper then woolies or IGA or coles. Staff don’t use word (F off) but by act yes it means.
Still letting the locals down but extra star for hard working staff. Fruit & vegetables look passed used by date? Maybe seconds from "Con" the Fruiterer's farm! Requires updating this tired, old 70's style store. You deserve better.
I'm not sure what people expect from a vege market. I found this particular Spudshed clean, well laid out and with good variety and prices. Yes, the vege does go off and will do even quicker in summer, but you have the choice of what you put in your trolley. I've had vege from the fresh food people looking a bit sad when I got it home!
The staff were helpful and friendly and that makes shopping so much more enjoyable. I certainly will be coming back.
This is one of our oldest haunts. In its day every space had a vendor. Now its skeletal remains ponder on with the well patronised favourites as the worms of societal decay work steadily on its bones. There's a spud shed.
No bad. Found the set up ruff but the products as per usual standard in every spudshed. The parking and trolley is below par.
Was a bit disappointing went for meat but only came home with mince, couldn't get hat I wanted.
Please I love shopping at spudshed but you need a machine to scrub the floor. It's so sticky and dirty in places
Poor service.waiting in the que. The other cashier had disappeared & finally when I did get served I tried to ask a question in English & she could not understand my query which further compounded my disappointment.
Vegetables and fruit did not appear to be fresh. Choice of potatoes was poor. All small. Out of stock of a number of items I normally purchase at spudshed. I'm not sure that I will go to this venue of the spudshed again.
The fruit and vegetables are not fresh and go off in two days. The bag on potatoes all of the potatoes were already soft and had a horrible smell to it. Banana I got was green as and two days brown. Tomatoes bag ended being soft 2 days later. I won't be buying any fruit and vegetables here again
Grubby smelly place. Poor qualty fruits n veg. N putting fertiliser by the front door is a nice touch to whats in store.s@&t!
I love Wanneroo Spud Shed. If is such a thing as a West Aussie image Spud Shed has got it.in spades.
I also love each & every other Spud Shed just as much.
The shop needs some money spent on it as it still looks like "the markets". Why does the Spud Shed treat people who live in the area as second rate?
Spud shed Waneroo needs a good renovation. Some fruit and vegetables are looking tired and rotten. They need a good manager that can keep up on checking the freshness and quality of the stock. I will have to start shopping in Joondaup.
