Spudshed Innaloo reviews
38 In the heart of Western Australia’s rich soil and under the sun-drenched skies, the Galati family embarked on a humble journey in the 1960s. Their story began on a small two-hectare market garden in Spearwood, where Sicilian roots ran deep. Tony, Vince, and Sam, the brothers at the helm, were raised amidst the green fields, their hands steeped in the soil’s wisdom. After school, their youthful vigor was poured into the garden, plucking tender beans and digging up earth’s treasures in the form of potatoes.
With unwavering dedication and countless hours of toil, this family enterprise sprouted roots that spread far and wide across Western Australia. Despite the immense growth, the spirit of kinship still thrives at its core. Tony, flanked by his brothers Vince and Sam, and with their sons standing shoulder to shoulder, oversee the daily rhythms of life on their various farms and stores.
In November 1998, a small shed on the Baldivis farm marked the birth of something extraordinary. What initially began as a modest farmer’s market has blossomed into a vibrant tapestry of seventeen stores. These stores are a treasure trove, offering not only an extensive selection of fresh produce but also a complete array of meat, dairy, and groceries. Yet, amidst this transformation, the soul of the business remains untouched, for the majority of their produce still finds its roots in the Galati farms.
Their business philosophy is as straightforward as it is admirable: making the weekly shopping experience more affordable while ensuring that the people of Perth have access to healthy, fresh produce. This mission fuels the Galati family’s relentless drive. Their legacy is one of hard work, perseverance, and a commitment to nourishing both bodies and budgets. In the aisles of Spudshed, the Galati story lives on, where the love for the land and the passion for sharing its bounty unite to create a thriving community of food lovers.
Good range of food products, often a very long check out link but it usually moves quickly. Good opening hours.
Went into spudshed the other day and asked for some paper bag and they still didn’t have any and then When I went in again I heard who I assume was the manager, and elderly lady with blonde hair talking to a staff member about how they’re withholding paper bags as a “sales strategy”. This is RIDICULOUS cause what about the people who can’t afford to pay $3 per bag for all their shopping disgraceful behaviour especially from spudshed a place that appeals to the middle man. DO BETTER
Never get produce/ fruit/ veg here. It’s never fresh and is always of the most lowest quality.
Vegetables great prices just the best way better then the bug two along with a further 5% on Tuesdays for senior's enough said
Nice place 24X7 opened.
U can get lots of varieties and at very affordable prices.
Better than Cole's and Woolworths
I love shopping here for fruit & veg. You have to be choosey though. If you are not concerned about the appearance of everything, you can pick up some great food at a great price. Most of the packaged goods are from overseas, which I am not keen on, so I normally shop elsewhere for locally produced goods.
So cheap! Can't believe I hadn't been to Spudshed sooner.
They don't have all your groceries, however if you go for a look you can find some great bargains. Especially on frozen meals and fruit & veg. Got good quality NZ Sour cream for only 99c once and 10x ice creams for $1
Would be great if the staff were polite or had any idea how to treat people. Security needs work on manners. Except for the 2 Somoan dudes. They are lovely.
Spudshed Innaloo is generally less busy than some others, even at peak times. Parking is never an issue. Lately it seems cleaner and better organised. Staff are friendly. Was expecting more deals as a member though.
You may find a bit of dirt in their veggies, but it’s a fair compromise for the price you pay. They don’t process their veggie much, and that’s where customers saves most.
Fantastic Spud shed. This place is huge. So many products available from vegetables, meats, baked goods and a massive selection of international foods. I especially liked all the chocolate bars like butterfingers and baby Ruth. Delicious!
I was impressed by the layout of this store. All the products are brilliantly displayed and so easy to find. The store was very clean and well organised.
The staff that were working Friday night were super friendly. The security guard was extra helpful and very friendly.
It's very evident by the high standard of organization at this store that all the staff work very hard.
Definitely my favourite Spud shed. Peeps of Innaloo are very lucky to have this store! Highly recommend!
Tony Galati is a man-god-eagle! His vast array of delicious fresh produce, smallgoods, dairy and meat at unbelievable prices makes me wonder how he does it. I love Saturday mornings because I get to hold my partners hand as we shop for the week at spudshed. The frozen seafood is great value. Cleaning / hygeine / brushware sundries are cheap as chips. There is never a long queue at the checkouts. I heart spudshed!
Good place to shop just need the isles to have names for the items so you don't have to take so long in shopping there
Spudshed store is operating 24hrs and after 9PM thier is no toilet facilities for customers including child but staff have it. Staff member don't let the customers use the toilets.
One of the busiest mall and I tend to visit atleast once a week for shopping or quick lunch there.
Nice collection of retailers and restaurants, great place with plenty parking and access.
Spud shed Innaloo is my favorite store, it's very convenient, always specials available & the Staff are friendly and easy going which made my whole experience stress free
Subshed innaloo is looking great these days so much better, easy to find what u r looking for and lots of extra nic snacks.
I've being doing my fruit and vege shopping here since the shop opened, unfortunately I'm finding the quality of the fruit and veges this last year is deteriorating. Today I purchased two packs of pre packed tomatoes, and once I had thrown out the rotten tomatoes I was left with less than one bag all up, and those tomatoes weren't fantastic. We used to be able to buy cheap food but the quality was good.
Spud she's is always a great place to shop. Has all your basics covered, prices are exceptionally cheap and I always fill the trolley for half the price of other big supermarket chains. Staff are always lovely and helpful and being open 24hrs is an added bonus.
