Spotlight Rockingham

Had exactly what I needed. Store was clean, staff were lovely, knowledgeable and curtious. Plenty of parking, and I was even there at the Christmas peak.

Had everything I needed to retrieve the rear of my car at a great price. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Messy store, no organisation, price tags don’t match products, price check points out of order. Staff available are not customer focused to busy running around doing what ever else it is except helping customers. Very disorganised. My cashier asked for assistance for my purchase- tattooed supervisor came to assist with no help offered. As I was leaving saw tattooed supervisor having a smoke at the side of the building! Apart from the 50% off voucher I got via email nothing was worth my visit!

What a shambles, Never again, stock& empty boxes piled up all over the place, so much it was impossible to get to next aisle etc. Was like trying to go through a maze. Staff didn't seem to care

So, if you ever need anything to do with sowing or arts and crafts. You will not be stuck finding it here. It is a little piece of heaven with all the goodies that you need to do that project. I didn't even get a chance to look in other sections of the shop. Staff are extremely helpful too.

I was looking for Christmas paraphernalia, but found very little at this time. Halloween is taking prime position right now. But, if that's what you are looking for, I thought their range was pretty impressive

In my last two visits to this store the service has been very disappointing. As stated on the website AND THE FRONT DOOR TWICE! There is a price match guarantee with 10% off the matched item, on each of my visits staff did not know of this policy and the manger on both visits made a fuss about matching the price, on my second visit the manager said that she did not know there was a 10% off guarantee and I had to show her the website! The visit was so uncomfortable terrible training of staff and management need to have a coke and a smile and do as promised!

I will be back again to get the best price possible, I hope for a lovely experience with no fuss made!

Great shop. Clean and organised and the staff cutting the fabric know their stuff. Highly suggest getting their advice. Join the club membership at the checkout and you get discounts. Plus if you love craft they have lots. Pricing for craft is a bit higher than say other local big stores but variety is different. I hadn't been in there in ages!

Oh My Goodness, This store has gone form bad to worse. I used to frequent this store because its my closest store. Bad service, Bad store Manager, not good at listening and they just don't care. Often my fabric is being cut wrong and nobody seems to have the knowledge of how fabric needs to be cut in the furnishings department. They remove all the team members that are knowledgeable on their busiest days for casuals who has little or no experience. Bad, jus bad.

I purchased everything I needed with no fuss and the girls at the fabric the counter were just fantastic they new the amount of curtain material I needed for my three windows

Love this place because it has almost all my sewing needs. The staff is ever helpful and courteous. You get genuine bargains if you’re there at the right time. I’m happy with my purchases from Spotlight.

It is one of the most worn down Spotlights I have ever been too.
Very overcrowded in sections which makes it hard to get past people.

I only go here because I have to, there is nowhere else. I dread going into Spotlight because I have "boy bits" which means I am treated as a second class citizen hard to get service or taken seriously. Difficult to believe that after 12 years nothing has changed.

Caprice Platinum Day/Night Roller Blind ****please think twice before buying****

Absolutely no problem with the online ordering or the service at the Rockingham store, but the Caprice Platinum 2400mm wide double roller blind I bought and installed is absolute rubbish. You can guess where it is made.

The sunscreen blind is hemmed on an angle (so the bottom bar is 20mm high on one side) and the block out blind when unrolled looks like a crinkle cut chip all the way down. Plus it is so stiff it wants to stay curled a the bottom.

I had to cut the blind to length per the instructions but of course once cut you can't return it to the store, but of course you dont see the faults until cut and installed.so Catch 22.

The end fittings that socket into the blind tubes fit loose, so not sure how long they will last.

I bought this as a budget bind for room that didn't need an expensive blind, but for a $100 or so more you can get a much better blind made local to fit. So my choice and mistake buying this blind.

Huge store, plenty of stock. But just like other Spotlight stores it's hard to find an item with a price tag.

Get what you go in for with friendly service.
A bit pricey but then you invariably get what you are looking for. No complaints

Buy a machine from here AT YOUR OWN RISK.
I had to endure a 45 minute lecture about all the things I must have done wrong as user error, rather than have the experienced sales staff admit there was a fault with my machine - MEANWHILE my machine is skipping stitches on the fabric right in front of us!
When we offered to bypass Spotlight and talk directly to the manufacturer, suddenly there is "definitely something wrong with this machine". Hmmm.
Previously it was "stitching beautifully".
Even if you are new to sewing, you deserve your new equipment to work perfectly, don't settle for substandard tools OR service.
