Spotlight Mandurah reviews
60Huge store with almost everything you could possibly want or need for sprucing up your home interior.
Just a reminder they don’t do foam cut to size anymore. I cut mine for outdoor bench seat at Cushion house Australia at 22 Hampton St, Greenfields WA 6210
Not happy would of go a lot of stuff but it was so hot I think it is discussing that the staff have to work in that sort of condition you need to get proper
air-conditioning won't be going back there anytime soon
While the store is good. With a large range of art/ bedding and home supplies you need, it's always a tad more expensive. Staff are friendly but hard to find if you need advice or help.
Not impressed especially being the first time there, especially because their air conditioning wasn't working, and No available price checkers for customers use, all gone, so had to bother staff, and they were lovely
No trolleys available or wheeled carts, was told there are only a couple and they must be in use. Thoroughfares are chocker full of stuff and it was hard to negotiate to the other side. There are no price checker machines, so had to ask for the price for curtain rods at haberdashery area. The only good thing was the curtains we bought were half price, but would of bought more but ran out of hands.
My daughter (who has Autism n ADHD/ADD) has taken a recent liking to knitting n crocheting, so she's been to Spotlight several times spending on supplies and has made a few things and loving it. We don't think we have ever been to this store and not been able to find what we were looking for.
Great prices.
Have some amazing staff who are happy to help out and some that clearly hate their job and should not be in a customer facing role.
Had everything I needed to fix and replace my curtains and rails, didn't have to go to bunnings
Horrible the little girls at the counter.
Whoever put you on there need a good training on how to training staff.
Many numerous occasions the staff support here has been quite poor unfortunately from finding where particular items are to getting advice on different products staff seem too busy or too impatient to want to/be able help
Was looking for similar cushions to doona
and found in a couple of minutes and got at my Spotlight discount price. Winner.
Constantly disappointed by this store and its service. Employees are rude and treat you like you are an annoyance to them, that's when you can find one. The store is messy and unorganised and the sales are often misleading with different prices on the tickets such as "up to" savings on the wrong items. When you get tonthe counter and it scans up qirh the wrong price there is no apology or care. I work in retail so I understand the pressure they are under but how hard is it to smile and say hello or goodbye?
Shop is reasonably well laid out. Did seem to be a bit understaffed and it took quite some time to get assistance with many of the younger female employees giving me the old side eye as if I shouldn't be there. The employee who eventually assisted me initially didn't seem very interested in helping but soon warmed up.
Don't get sucked into the cut to order blinds thing, they don't do them in store and need to be sent to Melbourne, advised it was a 6-8 week turn around at best.
Overcharged my mother for a rug, she was charged double the amount, $25 price tag on the rug but charged $50. She went back into the store with the receipt and was told that the code on the rug was wrong and it was implied that was not the rug my mother bought. Wouldn't look further into it and had a very poor attitude towards my mother, disgusting customer service.
So much variety here and it'd be great if I had money to spend. There's nothing crafty that you can't get here. It's great
Went it for a particular item, not in stock, I said I would go to another store, staff member said you may want to ring first to see if they have it, on my way back home called into Rockingham store, sorry we don't have it, I can have a look for you and see what store do have it in stock, the service from one store to another, I will now avoid Mandurah Spotlight, I believe the staff make the store.
Always find what I need, most prices are outrageous, if there was somewhere cheaper I would go there but there isn't. Rather wait for online purchases too arrive but I'm inpatient
Store is large, but like all spotlights, very squishy and no room to move. It is SUPER hot in there, no air flow, be prepared you can't stay in the there too long before passing out. Staff on front counter were friendly.
Literally the worst customer service I have ever experienced. One older lady working was so rude and blunt when I asked her a question about a product, she then told me I had to go to another section to speak to someone else. Waited there for about 5 mins after ringing the bell no one came to the desk. I then proceeded to the front check outs and they called for someone to come and help me.they never showed. None of the price checkers work and nothing in the store is arranged or organised. I left because everything in that store seemed to be a huge effort. So disappointing. Shame.
