Rooms are relatively clean. Mess provides some good meals.
Would be very helpful if I could get a key to my room when I arrive in the early hours of the morning after working all night to get there.

Rooms are currently getting a full reno, the ones I've seen are very up to date.
Camp cleanliness has always been great.
Quick to fix equipment once it's been reported.
The gym has had a few equipment upgrades.
Lots of food choices, the chefs recently have been dishing out great meals. Great camp, friendly workers!

Very old camp, some facilities in campsite absolutely need to be upgraded… if you live in a clean room without loud fan, dirty toilet, yellow showertub, then you're very lucky:)

Staffs are very nice and friendly here though. They do care about customer service and cleanliness a lot, however some facilities are quite difficult to clean. Hope this camp can be renovated soon.

If you want to stay at a camp that makes you buy crib on fly in camp because they can't be bothered keeping the mess open
Spinifex is the camp for you

If you want dirty rooms that werent cleaned properly where the aircon randomly pours water onto you while you try to sleep for nightshift
Spinifex is the camp for you

If your on nightshift from area c and want to get locked out of camp in the morning
Then Spinifex is the camp for you

In short If you hear the words Spinifex and area c in the same sentence run

Good camp, food is OK, friendly people everywhere, definitely one of the better camps in the Pilbara.

Fantastic place to stay. Rooms are clean, all fittings work, airconditioner is operational with no smell.

Food! I would live there. Excellent variety, great taste, top hygiene.

Sadly staid there only one night, but those were my impressions. Would be back given an opportunity.

The camp facilities are clean and good, Rooms are larger than some of the other camps and are clean and well maintained. Food is abit dissapointing.

The infrastructure is good, the shop is a total rip off and there's no foxtel. No coffee machine in the dining hall.

Where do l start? Firstly very large camp with poor design not maximizing space so if your in a distant room be prepared for a long walk to the dry or wet mess. To obtain containers you must get them from reception with only 2 containers per bag so if you want 4 containers you need to take 2 bags, so the amount of generated waste is ridiculous, oh & by the way get your containers when you arrive & also each night after shift because reception doesn't open until 5am which is usually the time the bus leaves to go to site because you are so far away 50 mins to area C.
The rooms are larger than normal but the matress basically collapsed when l sat on it, the showers are old & the shower head spits needles out at you as you need to basically run around to wash the soap off. No movies channels just stock tv. The food is of a low quality, poorly presented, with an insufficient variety. Very few condiments to put on.your lunch, all in all a terribly demoralizing experience. Have stayed in many camps, unless your bhp? You definitely feel like a 2nd class citizen. Not impressed, in fact dissapointed.

Worst camp food I've ever had, fried eggs have move shell than egg
Daily crib is just as disappointing when they can be bothered to refil the trays
Room is big and gym is great
Food needs some serious work.

In all my FIFO years thus has to be the worst camp for amenities. The food is second rate and you can't even get a cup of coffee to take to your room. Kitchen staff very unprofessional and unfriendly. On the other hand the cleaners were top notch, very friendly and went out their way to help. Thanks to all the cleaning staff.

No foxtel in rooms is appalling, you need to go to the wet mess to watch foxtel. This only encourages drinking which results in an unhealthy lifestyle. If I had a choice I would not stay at this camp.

It is not surprising that fulltime employees look at contractors with contempt, a capable food service is put into budget mode when the contractors arrive to help service the plant and equipment.

Average camp, not super well maintained, rooms are not cleaned very well at all.
Good facilities and food is pretty good also.
