5/5 stars for staff out front! The staff out the front are always so wonderful and polite. Very helpful with picking glasses frames and actually give good advice on what suits face shape, rather than saying everything looks good. They are always positive and upbeat. Very easy also to book an appointment online!

I rate 3 stars as the experiences I have had with the optometrists there have been sub-par unfortunately. One occurrence, I came in for an appointment as I had a concern about my vision, I was also having health problems at the time related to vision so was quite anxious/stressed about the situation as vision is such an important part of daily life.
The optometrist was very dismissive and had told me to stop talking about my vision concerns and focus on the tests of the appointment and my regular vision. I wasn't there for a check up of my regular vision, I was there to check if there was anything wrong and I'd informed of my wishes about the appointment at the start of the visit.
I had already a regular eye check-up earlier in the year. I was talked through my results at the end and told everything was normal which was such a relief and appreciated. But it was upsetting to feel that my situation was dismissed. Empathy is required to each person's situation. Wording is important for this, even something like "your situation sounds quite worrying, I appreciate the information you have told me about your vision. I just have to go through some regular checks and then we will discuss it further. " Rather than telling someone to stop talking. Perhaps empathy and customer service training can be offered to staff. I won't be re-visiting again at all and plan to have future check ups with another optometrist.
But I thank you for the good service I have had though from certain staff, I appreciate that very much.

Would not go anywhere else, the team works hard to attend to your needs, service very prompt and friendly. A variety of frames to suit your needs, budget, and personal style. Eye test, hearing test it's in house.

Service was amazing. The process was so easy. Got my 2 new pair of glasses in a couple of weeks. Awesome work

I attended Albany Specsavers recently for new glasses. I love that the tests nowadays are so much quicker & easier. I found selecting frames online a great improvement as I could see how they looked on me. The option of accessing AfterPay was a bonus, especially just before Christmas. The staff were lovely & very helpful. They even fixed the nose pad on my old glasses so I can wear them again?

They are so helpful at spec savers. I like the idea of the hearing test before the eye tests. Well done with the great staff

I have been using Specsavers for many years now after trying a couple of others in town which were money hungry.
Specsavers are value for money. BUT they also look after you with full tests on your eyes, and recently started hearing tests as well with a full consultation.
IF in Doubt watch and believe ads on TV. They are true.

SpecsaversAlbany could not get a better ambassador for their business. From the moment I met Ginny for a hearing test till the time I had received my hearing aids, I could not have been looked after better. Not only was she highly knowledgeable and patient, she displayed a passion to.her job so often lacking. No.hard sell, just sound advice, leaving you full of confidence you have made the right choice. Back up service was no different.

Sorry for the 1 Star but I made an appointment online. When I arrived I was told they’re running 45 minutes late. A phone call or text would’ve been great as I’d traveled 50kms and we had our 3 young kids with us. Keep your customers better informed.

Amazing customer service, best I have experienced in Albany for quite a while. As soon as you walk in you are met with friendly smiles and a very professional manner. And the savings were awesome too. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to ANYONE who asks about glasses or optometrists. Thankyou for such a pleasurable experience.

Great experience with staff at this store, had to get some glasses for my little boy and though he run amok in the store, they were friendly and and respectful that he was only 2 and would touch everything, very respectful, friendly and helpful staff, especially Chelsea who was super great with my boy and getting the right glasses for him.

I visited Albany Specsavers today as my glasses I purchased from one of there other Stores was damaged and couldn't be worn. Was assisted by a Charming young Man named Matt.
Went out of his way to assist me.
