46Showed little interest in the customer, never asked or looked if the completed glasses fitted well or needed any adjustment, asked when picking frames if I could get the non slip/silicone nose pads and was told yes, when it came time to collect them and sat down with staff member I asked again. All I got was a bit of paper to read, asked if it looked good, I said seems ok, that was it.
The Joondalup store is great, the whole team was so friendly and helpful especially Clinton and aksel. Hands down the best optometrist I’ve ever seen, did a thorough test which I have not experienced before.
Very appalled by the service I received.
I ordered the wrong prescription contacts online.
I asked the person at the counter if I was able to swap them for the correct contacts.
She turned around to ask the young lady a few steps away from us if I could exchange them.
The young lady rolled her eyes right clear sight.
She then walked over and said that I need to do that online.
Professionalism is not rolling your eyes at a question that is your job.customer service. Her temper must be extremely short for that reaction.
Due to a misunderstanding, much of it on my part, I posted a negative review last week, which I have since deleted. I have always had great service, worthy of all 5 Stars, from Specsavers Joondalup. My latest experience is no different. When I went for my eye-test and selected frames, etc, Susan, the lady who measured/fitted me, was incredible. She was so meticulous which resulted in me getting the most satisfactory glasses I have ever had. I really do like them. I just got frustrated when I lost my glasses in the garden and was so blind, I couldn't find them. In a panic, I ordered a new pair because, working in Aged Care, I really need them. I was blind for 2 days, at which time, my original glasses were found and Specsavers were very generous with their discounts as I am purchasing 2 pairs. So if you read my whinge-fest, ignore it. What I have learned from this is that I should ALWAYS order 2 pairs to begin with.
Front of house staff as usual were friendly, helpful and attentive. But the experience with the optometrist was horrible. After experiencing difficulty with new glasses, a return appointment was made to explain that the new script was causing eye strain and discomfort to the point of eye watering and pain in one of my eyes. The Optometrist was not interested in listening to my concerns, and was arrogant and dismissive and simply walked away after agreeing to change new frames to old prescription. He was rude and continued to talk over the top of me, and wouldn’t accept my problem as valid. I’m sure 95% of customers have a smooth transition to new lenses, but if this optometrist had any customer service skills, he would have made an effort to listen to my concerns, and understand the problem - unless of course he isn’t very knowledgeable and was embarrassed by his own lack of knowledge in how to fix the problem?
I am reluctant to return to specsavers after this experience, and will definitely never deal with this specific optometrist! I was made to feel a nuisance and I left in tears!
The service at Specsavers had always been good, but after my last visit I feel like it's gotten better. I genuinely felt like a valued customer, like I was the only one in the store, which of course wasn't the case. An absolute pleasure.
Not a very good experience when picking my glasses up. They didn't seem interested in adjusting them and ill fitting.
Susan was absolutely fantastic, taking her time to ensure everything was perfect. I commend her professionalism and commitment.
They left my glasses loose, When I came back they didn't want to support me and asked me to go another store.

Wouldn’t use any other optometrist there very thorough & spot on with a great variety of glasses to choose from & the staff are awesome the friendliest and most helpful. Highly recommend Specsavers to anyone.
The optometrist and the optical assistants all did a fantastic job, on both occasions. Thoroughly recommend. Very happy with both pairs of glasses.

When I arrived the store was packed with customers and I felt very rushed to my seat. I was with the optomitist for about 15 minutes and was told my prescription had not changed since I saw them last (3 years ago!). I had visited another Optomitist last year and knew my prescription had changed since then. I was then rushed out to the floor staff whose service was aloof and disinterested so I decided to leave. I had my eyes tested at different optomitist in the shopping centre a week later to be told my eyes had distant vision had deteriorated quite significantly and I would now be required legally to wear glasses driving! Noticed a huge difference with my new glasses. I would NOT recommend Specsavers Joondalup at all, the service was appalling and extremely rushed and zero care given, felt like just a number to fill a spot so they get paid by Medicare. Gave me the wrong prescription (too strong) so ended up with glasses that I was unable to wear. Refused to lower the prescription when I requested it. Got retested elsewhere as I wasn’t happy. They refused to change my glasses to the correct prescription but on the plus side were happy to give me a full refund. I’ve been going there for years so it’s a shame but I won’t be going back now.
I ordered 2 different frames but received same 2 frames on delivery. When me and my husband explained the issue, the lady in the shop started pressuring us that we ordered same frames (my husband was there with me on order day and both of us clearly remember two different frames).
When i said ok i will take the same frames (as it was anxiety provoking and uncomfortable), she agreed to fix the fitting. When i said its still lose, she said i just fixed it and put it in box! No respect for customers, no professionalism, very rude and dismissive. I left the shop with these two same frame glasses which i might never use just because of the sick behaviour I received at the shop.
