I popped in after 5pm today.
It looked like all the staff were behind the counter. Not one of me asked if I needed assistance & I was ready to buy some lenses.
I've been here a few times & never experienced that. Just saying!

Always friendly and informative. The Optometrist explained everything very clearly and was really helpful and thorough. I didn't feel rushed out the door. The girl who assisted me with my glasses was genuinely helpful and patient, helping me to find something that suited me and wasn't bothered by my indecisiveness. Highly recommended.

Absolutely outstanding service. Blew me away. The optometrist at this location, I believe, to be Chris, was outstanding. I went in to see him to ask about eyedrops. He provided advice, then took me to the chemist next door, and showed me which ones would suit my situation. Never had this much help ever. Hats off to you!

I popped into my local Specsavers at Dogswamp/Yokine this Sunday arvo while I was doing some grocery shopping. The two ladies helped me to get rid of some difficult-to-clean staining on my sunglasses, and even tightened up the arms. Now they feel as good as new!

I'm very grateful & impressed with their help because I use these sunglasses every day. Even though they were run off their feet & very busy with lots of other customers picking up their glasses - they helped me solve my problem? Thank you ladies!

My arm had come off my glasses and was nervous at such a small job. I shouldn't have worried. Lovely receptionist who showed me to a seat while it was repaired at no charge. Delightful Scottish lady returned my glasses like new. Very busy but everyone professional and kind. Thankyou again!

Visited Specsavers at Yokine yesterday and received excellent service from William. He was friendly and very helpful explaining procedures for eye test and audio test in easy understandable language. He is most definitely an asset to the store. Thankyou William.

Staff are fabulous. Really helpful, very courteous and don’t rush you. The only downside is the range of glasses available. Mostly so middle of the road. Nothing that really “jumps out at you”. Fair enough to have so-so glasses because a lot of people just want the cheapest frames available. But there are quite a number of glasses which are “different” and stand out from the crowd. Even a limited range might entice me to buy more than 1pair of frames from there. But otherwise, I can’t fault the service and support of the service staff.

I've been a customer at this store for over 5 years now. I recently had my eyes checked and was more than pleasantly surprised to find that the store had been given a fantastic makeover. The flow from a customer’s point of view is easy. From entry to pre-testing and the optometrist room; it is welcoming throughout. The store is also a lot bigger than it was before, it’s well equipped and has good staff who attend to you quickly. I also find that I’m never left waiting, which is great because waiting is not my strong suit!

Emma assisted me with my pre-test and was professional and polite. She was also very helpful in finding and fitting the right frames. Chris (the optometrist) is friendly, professional and very easy to talk to. If there’s anything you don’t understand, just ask, because he is patient and has a knack for making complex things sound easy.

I won’t mention the competitor chain that I used to go to beforehand. But I will say the difference in service is huge. Specsavers might be the economical choice, but by no means does this reflect on the quality of service and equipment used, or the quality of the brands and products they sell. If anything, Specsavers is up there with the best. And I can’t recommend the Dog Swamp branch more highly.

Every time I have cause to visit Specsavers in Yokine I am impressed by the exceptional customer service; all staff are courteous, attentive, helpful and very professional. I highly recommend this business for all of your optometry needs.

Beyond Brilliant!
For over a decade Chris, Lindsay, Iain and the crew have been solving all of my eyecare health, prescription eyewear and sunglass needs with a level of competence, attention and responsiveness that has kept me returning year after year, happily.

For whatever reasons I never really felt much concern about needing to start wearing prescription glasses in my mid 50's - maybe because I had been wearing sunglasses for so long. Chris has certainly made the transition easier by going out of his way to ensure that the lenses matched my changing lifestyle needs as my eyes have grown weaker.

Dealing with my declining hearing has been a very different journey. I have been having annual hearing checks for the past seven years (the loss has kept increasing) without taking any positive action. Partly it was due to unwelcome 'sales pressure' from the firms I was using, but mostly it has been a 'self image' issue - hearing aids are for the elderly and the injured, etc, etc. With the benefit of hindsight the arrival of COVID-19 allowed me to stay in denial even longer because I could max out the volume on my phone and on my zoom calls.

So, a couple of weeks back I decided to give my SpecSavers a go for my annual date with checking and denying.

Enter the X factor - Ms Chau Pham, resident audiologist at Dogswamp (Yokine).

I am now the delighted owner / user of a set of Advance Elite hearing aids and I am deeply grateful that this is now my life.

Zero sales pressure, zero judgements. Exquisite curiosity and attention to what my priorities and concerns were. Plain English explanations of pro's and con's. Competence and kindness transformed something I was dreading into the confidence to take the plunge into the world of the hearing aided - and I am grateful.

So, my suggestion is, if you have hearing concerns and your preference is to be treated as a person and not a transaction, then book a date with the remarkable Ms Chau.

I keep going back. Just went back for my third pair of glasses there and I have been going there for quite a few years now.

The owners are super nice AND professional and seem to be able to hire great staff too so I've been impressed by the good service received from multiple staff members on numerous occasions.

This is a quieter Specsavers location so the service is more calm, and more personal, especially compared to some other Specsavers stores I'd been to before finding this one. My local store is so busy that I felt more like part of a herd of livestock when visiting so now I travel a much larger distance to go to this Yokine store.

I had a problem with the frame deteriorating unexpectedly quickly on a pair of prescription safety glasses, and then I broke the arm on them too, partly because I was avoiding wearing them due to their deterioration. Specsavers Yokine replaced them for me with a different, and thankfully better, frame and had the new lenses made up and everything, at no cost to me, and regardless of whether the manufacturer would cover them under warranty. I hope the manufacturer did because they deserve it - good people.

I'm a very happy customer and happy to recommend them.

Best Specsavers branch to go to! I travel further just to receive their ‘gold star’ service. All the staff are happy, courteous and extremely professional. I have also switched to the Audiologist for my hearing aid needs. Thank you to all the staff for your exceptional help and advice. Suzi

Absolutely disappointed. Unbelievable bad service. Booked a contact lens fit today. After I successfully took off my lens I’ve been told that they are short of staff and ask me to leave and come again next Wednesday. I do understand you are short of staff, but if you can’t make it today why don’t you just let me know and change the date of the appointment. I wasted 30mins there and need to go again next Wednesday. And I didn’t get my lens today because I didn’t show the staff I can put my contact lens on by myself? That make no sense! The staff who served me had a very very bad attitude! Won’t come back again for sure!
