Daughter did not have a good experience at all during her year at SCBC (year 4) and at the start of year 5. Classrooms too large to monitor for bullying and majority of children unfriendly and rude. This goes unnoticed a lot by teachers we’ve had. Did not witness a lot of Christian values and morals which school prides self in. Pulled daughter out this year-and it was the best decision! Currently thriving in a smaller community based primary school. Cannot believe the difference/contrast in my daughters mental well being and academic performance!

Teachers do nothing about their children's rudeness, immaturity and just anything to do with respect. They don't try to control the children they have duty of care over. Would definitely not want my children going to that school.

I used to go to SCBC a few years ago. Primary school, loved it. It was amazing and a great environment. However, in my opinion when the soccer academy was introduced the school went down in quality.

South Coast praises its academy kids at the price of everyone's education and enjoyment. Myself left for a few reasons but a big one was the management of the soccer academy.

Multiple times throughout high school these academy kids would disrespect the teachers and disrupt the class without any consequences, usually getting a slap on the wrist then continuing with their antics the next day.

With this most (not all) academy kids were people that only respected there coach's not their teachers or fellow peers. Because of this behavior other kids would follow in there foot steps.

Another thing that really annoyed me and others is the 'level back'. When students completed 2 weeks of good behavior they can get back a level. This lead to many students abusing this and continue misbehaving in the classroom.

Students who were on their final straw got multiple chances to improve their behavior as well, which they never did and the school continued to allow it.

Lastly, the no tolerance bullying rule is ineffective. When I went there I saw a lot of bullying that wasn't being handled neither did the school approach it well either. All verbal but words can stick with a kid forever, it has for me. Plus if a physical fight did break out if you were to punch back to defend yourself you would be suspended for not running away. Are they telling me if I'm on the floor and can't run I should just sit there and get beaten?

Even though I haven't been at SCBC for a few years I still have a friend that goes to there. They find this is still an ongoing issue both for the management of the soccer academy and no tolerance bullying rule.

Overall SCBC gave me a great primary school experience but the school has gone down in quality ever since the introduction of the soccer academy. With behavior management and bullying issues still present.

We have 2 children attending the college, 1 just graduated secondary. The colleges pastrol care is outstanding and I can't speak highly enough of this area which is so important for our young people & community, every child's journey different but all with the same educational experiences. So many amazing teachers that make your child's experience memorable. Would love to see the school follow the path of more IT and Drone programs in secondary as technology is certainly the future and would attract more like minded students to the college. Thank you SCBC for helping shape our young people into kind, compassionate, independent individuals that will contribute to the community in a positive manner. God bless you all

This School is a lie as it is following they are not following the teachings of Jesus Christ (pbuh), rather they are following the teachings of the Church. Would 100% not recommend this school for people seeking to expand their spiritual knowledge as they are being fed wrong and misleading information. The teachers themselves are not following what Jesus Christ (pbuh) said and are lying to their students about Christianity. Many of the fundemental principles are being thrown away and principles that support their view are being brought up. I rated this 1 star because I could not rate it any lower. I would have If I could

This school is overall an o k a y school, but i think as a student in this school, they should cut down the amount of work and assignments they give us. Every week theres always new assignments given out and im stressing and my overall self esteem is getting lower the more i spend time at this school. I lose motivation to do any work and end up doing my assignments the day before its due.i really hope they actually give us less work to do.

What a pleasure it is to be a part of the SCBC College Community as a member of the Admin Team. When my children were growing up, (now in their late 20's) this is the type of school I only imagined could be possible, to help to bring out the fullness of who they are socially, academically, emotionally and spiritually. I will certainly be looking forward to my grandchildren coming to SCBC in their time.

This school deserves no stars.actually negative stars.
Everyone is leaving because once you past all the fake amazing comments about this school. You enter the reality of how horrible this school really is, primary school gets all the love, which isn't much at all and the high school is completely forgotten about. If i was a parent, i would un-inroll my child straight away or if you are a parent wanting to enroll your child here, please reconsider because if you dont you are entering your child into hell. Anyone who disagrees with what i am saying obviously is blind to the fact that THIS SCHOOL IS HORRIBLE.
Take my word for this as i am a student who recently left because of how rude, stereotypical and overall disgusting this school is.

I go to SCBC and I believe teachers give too much homework so if you don't want your children to have anxiety from homework, don't send them here

My third year at South Coast. So blessed that my son was able to be part of the unique and innovative primary school football program. The school has been very supportive of his academic side. The improvements in his maths has been great.
My daughter has been at the school since this year. She’s very happy and loves the staff and support they give her. You really feel you are part of a community. The football program is world class.

I have a peace of mind knowing my son is in a calming, welcoming and friendly environment after experiencing so much bullying at King's college. There is so much discipline at the school and this Cristian environment which leaves me with a peace of mind every morning when school starts. I recommend 100% for anyone who is after quality education to experience this

Homophobic, anti-science and superstitious. Against all enlightened social progress. KEEP YOUR KIDS AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

SCBC staff really cares about their students and wish for each kid to have a great schooling experience! A privilege to be part of this caring community!

As a former student of this school, I believe that its OK. Until you hit the high end of the college - high school. The cooking classes and the rest are all honey and sugar and then you have to go to Bible Studies. In BS they tell you about your 'purpose' in life and 'what your made for'. That your only there to 'carry out God's wishes'. I don't believe in this so called 'God' and when I voiced up about it i said. "What if we don't believe in God, like me? Whats my purpose in life then? " and I was told. "your a slave to sin and the devil. " This damaged my self esteem and I was looked at like I was a big wad of GUM STUCK TO THEIR SHOES.
